Where do you think we will finish now?

We're up for this and should be pushing for 2nd spot. In my opinion, Arsenals fixtures are going to be trickier than ours as they will be playing teams threatened by relegation. Add into the mix they've got defensive injuries, this could be our chance to finally finish above them.

I think we'll finish 4th but I am going to put £100 on arsenal to win the CL! I can't take last seasons pain again and the profit might soften the blow.

After the recent Man U game at the lane, I fancy our chances against Arsenal and City. If the crowd can produce the atmosphere they did that day, I back Bale and co to do the rest. No team will be looking forward to playing us.

To finish 4th, I think we need to beat the scum and then take around 7 - 9 points from the Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Everton games, it's still a tough ask .

4th. Our finishing position rests upon our remaining results against Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool.

To be perfectly honest, I am still quite afraid of capitulation. Arsenal have a much easier run of fixtures than us. I think we will have to win our next 2 games (including the NLD) if I am to be confident of a top 4 finish. If we do that then we can look up to 3rd or 2nd with our games against City and Chelsea being the deciding factors

I Think Arsenal are favourites to beat us in the race for fourth right now, that does't mean we can't win it but I make them favourites despite our narrow lead

I can't see Chelsea imploding to the extent they drop out the CL spots again and while I can see City having a slump I think they probably had a good enough start and have enough match winners in their squad to keep them above the CL line

I think for us to finish in the top four this season Adebayor is going to need to recapture his last seasons form, Bale is going to have to maintain his form and our fit midfielders are going to have to stay fit

I expect us to finish somewhere between second and fourth. There is a clear difference from last season and this should help us so that we don't capitulate again but instead come through in the clutch like the Black Mamba.

Aiming or settling for fourth is weak, there is no reason why we can't finish third at least.

There is nothing to be afraid of in this league.

If we take that amount of points from those games we will finish 3rd. But we wont take that amount so i think we will get 5th. hope im wrong.

I'm very optimistic. I think we played really well against Newcastle and we're very confident.
I'm going to say a very close 3rd place for Spurs.

5th or 6th, Man City and Chelsea have too much quality, Arsenal have a number of players that can score goals, that to some extent covers for the loss of RVP. Everton are grinding out results, but would be disappointed to be pipped by them as I think our squad is better than theirs, same with Liverpool I think we have a better squad but only just, they will beat anyone on their day and they will continue to improve.

If we want fourth place or higher we need to have more of a goal threat from other players not just Bale, more and more teams will double up on Bale. We also need to find a way to break down teams like Stoke.

With the remaining fixtures I can see Chelsea and City both getting over 70 points and Arsenal reaching at least 65, so that has to be our target. If we can win 7 of our last 12 with a couple of draws we get there, and if those wins come against our direct rivals it will make life that much easier.

It is getting harder for teams to double mark Bale now because he floats about the pitch so much. If he gets double marked it means an opposing CM will have to go wandering so the likes of Holtby and Dembele will need to be stepping up to make use of that. I'm pretty confident one or both of them will start banging in goals before long.

But I remember we had a pretty easy looking run-in last year and it didn't work out, so there's no guaranteeing that Arsenal will have such an easy ride.

Not to mention we had a tough run-in when we finished fourth for the first time (Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City etc) and we still managed to pull through.

If more and more teams start doubling up on GB, then we need to be sharp enough and mature enough to switch the play AT PACE and take advantage of the gap left by the extra player doubling up on Bale. With each problem comes a solution.

I have the feeling that Holtby will be key for this.

And the year we got CL we beat arsenal Chelsea and city near enough on the bounce.
