shall we just all give up and pack in suporting tottenham, or should they just throw in the towl because no player will be at us in 2 years time now?!

n 2 years time Chelsea might be bankrupt and we may be winnign the league.. such is the way of football!! i have faith that the players who dont get too big for the club (and we are a growing club once again) will stay with us and take us back to the glorry days!!

I think the more we progress the less likely it will be to happen with regards to our players going to respective premierleague sides. A while ago, Carrick was the star man in a fairly average team and he went to Man.U, at the time we weren't as big especially potentiol wise as we are now. Also we have now finally won something and have a manager that players want to come and play for MODRIC AND GIOVANNI!!!! Not only that but we have a team of world class players the likes of:Gomes,Hutton,Woodgate,King,Bale,Lennon,Dos Santos,Modric,Berbatov,Keane could ALL be worthy of playing for a top4 or quality foreign side. However if we have a host of these standard players and they look around the dressing room and see how good a team they are playing in they won't be as keen to move, also by then we may well have won another trophy or broken into the top4 and then there is no reason they would want to move except for higer wages and if that is the case we may well be able to pay them slightly higher to keep them happy if we are in the CL and also it will be more likely that the european giants buy players such as Dos Santos,Modric etc etc likes of Barca,AC Milan,Lyon,Real Madrid etc etc and although we can to an extent resist these approaches, our squad like Arsenals etc should hopefully be strong enough that we can let go of a few if we really have to and bring in an equally good if not slight improvement like Arsenal have done with Nasri and Hleb.

So chin up. The better we get the more money and status we have the more power we have and the less likely our star players will go and the more likely others star players will come to us. I.e Capel,Ashravin and Bentley :)

I fully agree with what Lukespurs is saying and would like to add that NOTHING is permanent NOTHING. Our time is almost at hand and with a little more patience, together with a decent showing this coming season, we´ll definitely be there within the next couple of years.
