I know that this subject is getting a bit long in the tooth, but I'd like to see where other fans think he'll be next season? Here are some of the possible clubs.

Spurs

Why: Possibly the greatest sporting club ever to exist in the history of mankind, in any sport and in any nation.
Why not: Berbatov surposedly wants CL football, his agent is trying to get a move and not many other people share my opinion on how great we are.

Man Utd

Why:European champions, with a shortage of strikers, loads of money and free flowing style.
Why not: We might not want to sell to another premiership club, Berbatov is not as hard working as Ferguson usually goes for and at 27, isn't as young as most recent Manure signings.

Chelsea:

Why: More money than sense and possibly without Drogba next season.
Why not: We hate them, can't see Berba really wanting to play alone up front recieving long balls or out of position on the wing.

Man City

Why: They really really want him and have the money
Why not: No CL football, mid table club seen as below us, in state of self destruction as they're run by a crooked megalomaniac former dictator.

AC Milan:

Why: One of europes most succesful clubs, seeking a new centre forward to replace Shevchenko/Ronaldo/Inzaghi. Seems to be interest from both from club and Berbatov.
Why not: No CL next season. Have not got the money they used to have, and they also need to rebuild a creaking defence and midfield. May seriously baulk at the price we're asking.

Inter:

Why: Italian champions and CL football.
Why not: plenty of good attacking options already, and no real evidence of any serious interest.

Barcelona:

Why: Europes second most glamorous club, famed for attacking football, looking for new players as club is having a clearout, and as a result we might be interested in a part exchange.
Why not: More than enough attacking players unless someone leaves, uncertainty over new managers plans and possibility that they may be looking for someone younger than Berbatov (preferably dutch or brazilian).

Real Madrid:

Why: CL football and loadsa money, some recent rumours may indicate interest and 442 will suit Berbatov.
Why not: More interested in spending £50M on Ronaldo, not much shown from Marca (official real mouthpiece) and Van Nistelrooy isn't known for appreciating competition.

Hilarious the way the poll looks now. Everyone was calling me stupid for thinking Berbs would stay like I predicted. I had a feeling no one will pay the cash that Levy always holds out for.

Ya got to listen to ole Gibbsy. I may not massage the shoulders of the clique but I certainly get more right than them!

don't think Barcelona would allow one player to join us unless they are looking to sign a player from here .. while Berbatov is the only one they could be hoping for. ( don't mean it is apart for any agreement about possible signature, but it's about to be closer to our board hearts )

while they are trying to sell Eto'o, Henry and other 10 players .. for sure it's also possible to sell Dos Santos as he doesn't want to be loaned out. That's would help them to get more money to sign players. If Ramos is looking to sign Dos Santos, we will get him for cut price deal in order to lower our asking price for Berbatov £30m.

so, I'm not rule out Dos Santos for Spurs for £8m .. and Berbatov for Barcelona for £25m. As we still love to get a player like Santos and selling Berba abroad.

Good call, I think that nobody will pay our asking price, but having given him a deadline to decide, If he decides to go he'll go. I can see him involved in some kind of strange exchange arrangment, in order to hide the fact that we're not going to get what we want for our star player, when he has many years left on his contract.

Since when does Man United have boat loads of money. They are leveraged to the hilt. Not that they can't manage to buy him, but making them out as if they aren't a billion dollars in debt is a little misleading

I think he'll still be here next season. Not because he wants to stay necessarily, but because of the clubs we'd be willing to sell to, either they won't pay the fee we're demanding or they don't need him.
