Every chance of winning the league, other top clubs have terrible consistency issues, and they seem to be able to keep grinding out the results. We have been saying they will drop away every time the next big test comes along. Hope they do a real inspiration to what can be done without spending billions.

Unfortunately someone like City will probably spend enough in January to make sure that they don't win it.

Actually how Leicester handle the January transfer window will be interesting. They are an attractive side right now so they might be able to get a few players that wouldn't have joined them last summer, but If they try to invest in too many players it could disrupt the side.

I hope Leicester don't finish 4th for Poch's sake and the sake of other managers that come after him, it will raise the expectations of our supporters and supporters of other clubs and chairmen. There will be even less patience with managers.

Predicted at the start of the season they finish 10th

Now, id say 4th.

I live in leicester and most people i know are leicester fans. Many of them, well over half in fact, have been convinced for weeks now they are gonna win the league

They are doing my fuckin head in

I predicted them to finish bottom. The Leicester fan pub owner of my regular is enjoying himself right now.

My sisters ex boyfriend was a mad Leicester fan and turned out to be a nasty piece of work who beat her up. Knowing that sh@t c@#t is out there happy as Larry just doesn't sit right with me and on that basis I fucking hope they implode

Honestly, forget Leicester, they've been playing great and deserve to be where they are, but they won't finish in the top 4. To be a top 4 team you need to have narrowly missed out on it previously so you've got the experience the next time around. Our own experience tells us this. It'll just a take a couple of injuries and loss of form and they're quite capable of going on a losing run.

This is the reality of the league table:

1 Arsenal 16 +16 33
2 Man City16 +15 32
3 Tottenham 17 +14 29
4 Man Utd 17 +8 29

A couple of months from now this will have been proved to be correct or I'll admit I know nothing about anything.

I think everyone will take them seriously now and they are the team to beat (feels strange saying that). But this is where they will need to dig deeper, the big teams will show them more respect and be wary of their threats, whilst the teams towards the bottom will sit back and deny them the space they've been afforded

Can see teams starting to double up on Mahrez and the likes of West Brom and Stoke will give him a few kicks early on.

I can't them sustaining their form even if they don't get any injuries.

Leicester have had a mix of the fixture list being favourable to them and also them actually being good and doing what they need to do. They've not had that grouping of 3 or 4 big teams in a row which could have been too much. I think the fact that Arsenal well and truly beat them earlier in the season shows they can be beaten if the big teams actually show up, so will be interesting to see how Man City and Liverpool fair about them and just the Christmas season in general.

I think I can see them finishing 5th this season. I think their squad size will ultimately be their downfall. They've got the FA cup coming to make the festive period and January even harder and the big teams will undoubtedly be trying to do some business and stop being so inconsistent so I think things will catch up a bit, but not the point where they full on free fall

I think they'll finish 4th, but also that we'll get 3rd. As it stands, other teams lack the consistency.

They seem to be getting stronger .

I can see them going all the way .

Mahrez and Vardi are the best strikers in the league and Ujoa isn't shabby .

They have kept it going upfront and tightened up at the back .

It's going to get tough but I don't think they have found top gear yet .

Till now Leicester have had fairy tale season where people had no expectation of them. Now, they will have weight of the expectation of media, pundits & their own fans.
Performing under pressure is different ball game. I would be shocked, if they don't succumb to the pressure.

Seems to me there is a lot of arrogance and denial on here. People assuming Leicester's form is "unsustainable". What Leicester have done and are doing is no fluke, this run of form didn't start two games ago, it started in the last third of last season when they started to lift themselves off the bottom of the table. That form has continued for the entirety of this season so far. They have been in this form for three quarters of a season in total, no team stays in title winning form for that length of time by luck. People have been saying "it wont last" for about the last dozen games but they just keep on winning. Fail to take Leicester seriously at your peril.

Guess we'll see at the end of the season.

Vardy and Mahrez have scored 28 out of Leicester's 37 league goals. Only the bottom seven teams in the league have conceded more goals than them so far.

I just don't see how they can keep up their form for a full season when they're conceding a lot of goals and relying on two players to score. They'll get injured/fatigued at some point. They'll have to deal with getting double marked and playing against teams that will now see a draw as a decent result.

I think being nine points above fourth place right now might be enough for them to survive the next half of the season and remain in a Champion's League place. But we know better than anyone that it only takes a small run of poor form to completely derail a potentially fantastic season.

I do hope they finish in the top 4, just as long as it is below us.

That's exactly what they've going at the moment though. Their last four results - draw with Man Utd, beat Swansea, beat Chelsea, beat Everton. OK -Man Utd and Chelsea might not be in the best form, but they are still traditionally big sides.

Next up are Man City, then Liverpool, then Bournemouth, then us.
