Went over this weekend for the game. First time there and absolutely loved it. I was sitting in the South Stand and the atmosphere was cracking with the spam fans right beside the Spurs fans going at each other.

Just wondering if Im going in future (I will be:wink:) is the Park Lane the place to be? I know the west upper is supposed to be a bit quite but are the Paxton and the shelf good places to go? Just trying to get a feel for where to buy tickets for.

Thanks.

I'm east upper. Void of atmosphere.

Gotta be south lower in the corner, surely?

Best place for atmosphere is the corner between the Park Lane and the Shelf Side (east stand).

Wot he said.

My seat is notionally on the shelf, although rarely sit on it, the nearest block to the Park Lane.

Apart from this one nutter who always stands next to me despite his seat being a few rows in front (alright Libs ) it's quality.

I always go for Park Lane South, near the opposing fans. The atmosphere is great there as i'd say that's the most vocal stand, especially going at the away fans. The price is good as well. The only downside is that the view of the other end can be a bit difficult.

I avoid the East stand because of the pillars but also because the atmosphere isn't up to much. I never seem to get near the north stand (mostly season ticket holders?), and the west stand is far too expensive.

I'm west stand upper tier, on the isle of block five, decent height and right in line with the halfway line/ above the dugout. I've sat all over on other occasions but nowhere else at WHL compares in terms of view. However, if you want atmosphere it's South upper near the away fans every time. The one drawback where I sit s that nobody sings unless the atmosphere is really electric like the other day.

I've been to all sections at WHL except West Stand and Paxton Upper, and my favourite is Park Lane Lower.

over the past few seasons the worst place would be the managers seat!

parklane lower or upper, or the shelf near paxton, best stands!

easy. Park lane next as close to away fans as possible.
But then it might not be the environment if you taking children or the Mrs etc.
if thats the case go Paxton road cheap and is the family stand.

If you want to sing your heart out, Park Lane anywhere or south end of the east stand. It doesn't sound like you'd like the north upper very much - it tends to be a bit quieter, although no less passionate for that. And as it's the family stand extreme views and behaviour tend to be frowned upon.

Best seats, IMO, are Park Lane or Paxton Road uppers in the front few rows, as central as possible. Fantastic views of the game. Best value too.

Having said that, any seat at WHL is pretty fucking good, because wherever you are you'll have Spurs in front of you.

South East corner is the best place to be, in either the Park Lane or the Shelf.

I had a season ticket in the Paxton lower for three years but atmosphere is nothing like it is in the Park Lane.

Never sit in the West!

Obviously haven't been in the highlight club  (I'm only bragging because I got in for free )

i've been in sentinary once or twice (also free ) which is nice, especially the roast beef before kick off and the vacherin at half time, but I'm rather noisy at spurs and can't really let it out in the sentinary section. Where do you usually sit?
