Following the total collapse of their season one of the Muppet Show declared that they go out to entertain, like actors on a stage or some such nonsense and the trophies can take a back seat. Is it just me do Man Utd not only clean up trophy-wise but also play the most attractive football? Surely this is just the same Gooner-powered PR machine that is still insisting they fielded a weakened side against us in the 5-1 triumph?

Did someone from arsenal actually say that?

I glanced at something in the sunday papers that led me to believe this. I couldn't read it all, got a stitch from laughing so hard :)

It's tough. Man Utd go direct more often than the Scum, but they're more dynamic. But the Scum have the better short passing game, just marginally.

Is it really just a choice between better = attractive or better = effective? Cos Man U are more effective than the Scum, and their football, while not quite as attractive, is still more than attractive enough.

Arsenal play the 'prettier' football, Utd play the more effecient football.
Utd play some great stuff and are clinical whereas the scumbags are not im pleased to say!

Arsenal haven't played pretty football for months, they've just been very average. Every time Adebayor has touched the ball he has looked like Akinibyi and Fabregas has looked increasingly unimpressive as the games have worn on (in fact, Walcott has been their only player that has been remotely interesting to watch). Maybe they've simply tired, they were undoubtadely playing great stuff early in the season but recently Man U have been outdoing them by a mile. Long may it continue.

There's no argument that the shit that comes out of the arse is better.

But the best footie by far was that played by the Arse at the time of Berkamp and co.

I'd rather watch a United match than an Ar5ena1 match. Attractive football isn't always short passes all the way up the pitch untill you get into the box and then either dive or slice it wide. Personally I love to see a good 40 yard cracker, or a piece of brilliant improvisation (Ronaldinho's goal against Chelski in the CL comes to mind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOwdVDzxccc).

Spot on. Kills me to say it but that football was the best the Prem has ever seen imo. These days though it's Utd that plays the best football. We can get close sometimes, but we're just not consistent enough.

I am not a fan of counter attacking football, never have been. To see Man U play this season has been a pleasure, while the scum have just played this athletic, sprinting game. I would sooner watch Man U play the beautiful passing stuff where all the players switch positions.

They both play great football. Football that is, in fact, light years ahead of any of the other teams in the Premieship.

Man Yoo play great football and then they bang in it in the back of the net as the end result whereas Woolwich prefer to walk it in. Also Many Yoo can adapt their game to who they are playing far better than scummy Woolwich

It's good to see that there are fans who are honest to admit to facts instead of having blinkers on all the time. It's nice to have them on from time to time though.

Woolwich only know 1 way to play. United know several ways, they are absolutely breathtaking to watch - and consistently so aswell

Can't think of any Arsenal performances this season which can match the way United played against Newcastle and Villa.

United by a good distance for me, football is not just about knocking the ball about in pretty patterns, it has to have end product and United have the product.
