Well, you really have to take relativity into the equation of that statistic. The longer a team retains premiership status, naturally the more goals it will concede. If a team is promoted into the league for just one single season, it is much more probable for it to concede less goals than the teams who survive longer :shrug:

Considering we are one of only 7 PL ever-presents, Villa and Everton have gone through spells of being notoriously hard to score against, and the other 4 have all finished above us in practically every season its hardly surprising. If you put it in a goals conceded per game ratio, we'd be a lot better off.
