Who will be our surprising hero in the remainder of the season?

Livermore, deffo. (actually, he might suddenly find form and do a Bale, so that´s not really tat funny (ever an optimist)).

Nah. Dempsey might come back with a vengeance for the fulham-game and find form immediately. Other than him one of our forwards might suddenly turn a corner, gain confidence and score in every game for the rest of the season

It has to be AVB in my opinion, there are still going to be some lows before the season is out and it's going to about how he picks the players up and motivates them both mentally and physically

This, for me.

If we achieve top 4 ahead of Arsenal this season then for me it'll be down to this man. Players can step up to the mark and play well but they need to be given the right direction and mentality. It'll be down to the gaffer as to how we set up against teams and what our mentality will be like. He has to instill this into the players or else we fail.

We've got plenty of notable players. Bale, Dembele, Vertonghen and Lloris have established their class and wouldn't surprise me if they did well. I'd be happily impressed to see Sigurdsson add to his good form recently and if Holtby improves and settles into the team, although he'll be similar to Siggy I reckon where he'll need to slowly adapt so I think he'll be better next season (a good move for him joining early to settle in earlier).

Hopefully Adebayor will find some confidence after his winner against Inter and go on a scoring run now. Ridiculous that it should be a surprise though.

Bale is obviously no surprise. So, I am going to go for Siggi.

It shouldn't have to be a surprise considering he's one of our highest earners... but he really hasn't been that great, or looked like he gives a shit. Hopefully it changes, and soon.

2009/10 season it was Pav IIRC.

This season I think Ade will step up however unlikely that is.

Tom Carroll for me. Genuinely think he offers us something which we don't have in the middle at the moment and he is willing to look for killer passes and through balls in to space. Just hope he gets some games.

Harry Kane.

Adebayor gets flown out for a permanant holiday and Defoe continues to populate the world with numerous birds. Kane steps in and scores worldy's every game.

I like this thread.

I don't think he'll be great but I think Huddlestone will score a really important goal for us before the end of the season and finally get a hair cut.

Jenas, he'll score the winning goal against Arsenal that will produce a negative spiral for them and see us finish above them.
