I normally just drink in the stadium, I think there is a pub by the station.

Can recommend the pub next to the station. We went in there last season & it was dirt cheap! When the barman told me the price i almost said no i ordered 2 not one!!

Some of the pubs are a bit funny about letting away fans in though so take a coat to cover your shirt

Wouldn't go to any pubs n the way to the stadium from the station, only the ones right near the station.

think you mean the cornerhouse, thats right near the station and the atmosphere towards away fans is good! (as can be!) see you there!

It's my first trip to Middlesbrough so will take your advice and go to the pub by the station.

Just heard from a mate who goes to every away game - he said DON'T go to a pub by the station as two years ago it all kicked off and someone tried to set fire to it, and his mate had a beer glass thrown at him in there. Sorry but he didn't know the name of this pub, just that it was by the station.

I wouldnt worry too much something like is very unlikely & could happen anywhere. The advantage of that pub is that the station will be crawling with the filth so if anything kicks off next door they will soon get there to sort it out. If your still not keen try one of the typical city centre pubs. Been in one of those there before a game & that was fine.
