As soon as i saw the word Mirror in the article i thought oh here we go..... Never read that paper ever as they are quite possible the worst journo's in the business. Darren Lewis is shocking on sunday suppliment and shows he knows nothing with the comment on Jol and Carrick.
But saying that... we should be backing harry while he is our boss!

I managed to get to the Liverpool game, and the first half was extremely exciting with a superb modric goal.

To be honest even though we scored against a depleted liverpool team the lads lost their way a bit, many of you who did not go will have heard of the 66 keep away passes. This really confused me as it was perfect opportunity to really hammer the scousers, but we did not.

The next goals came from us out numbering them and Dalglish not reacting to his situation well.

Twitchy needs to just keep his mouth shut, yet again he is telling us that as fans if did not like the performance we are wrong or idiots or something else distasteful

Harry I sent 140 quid to go the game, I will bloody well make my own mind up what I think. I dont need some chancey geezer like you to tell me what to think. If he wants to be loved by the fans and get a song. He should just shut the fuck up and do his job

Putting to one side the generally fair gist of the article, using a newspaper column that says how great Redknapp is to deny the fact that he is too chummy and gets an easy ride from the press is Alanis-esque in its irony.

As someone said, it's a filler and also just run to poke Spurs fans to chunter and moan, thus keeping The Mirror on everyone's lips. Crap (but effective) journalism.

As most will know, I'm not a huge Redknapp fan and have been moaning about his/our deficiencies since the day we appointed him, and I agree that none of us should be told what to think, but I disagree with some of this post.

Liverpool going down to ten, then nine men certainly helped us, and there were a few around me who were moaning that at 1-0 we weren't going for the jugular and attacking like banshees. But I think we did exactly the right thing, retaining possession, making Liverpool chase the ball all over the pitch. Dalglish had bravely left two strikers and a couple of other creative biased players on the pitch, and they play a more counter attacking game anyway and so were always dangerous on the break, particularly if we'd have gone gung-ho and tried to press home our man/two man advantage.
They then would have just sat everyone back behind the ball and defended for all they were worth.

I was worried (and Redknapp expressed the same concerns) that when they went down to ten men it would disrupt our rhythm, and work rate, but our first and last goals both came from pressing defenders out of possession.

My hope is that we now make this (pressing/work rate) a basic feature of our play.

So what? Well done you for spending that much money. We won 4-0 and played excellent football even before they went down to 10 men. He's right, if you can't enjoy that then there's no point in you ever going to watch a game. Seriously.

Just because he opened his mouth you've taken offence, despite what he said was exactly right. The fact you can still find anger after the last couple of weeks says more about you than it does Harry.

Oh, and he's got a song in case you didn't know.
