I must stress that all this post is being made on the assumption of IF arshavin signs, I don't want to be getting ahead of myself!
Anyway, why would we sign him?
1 - he appears to be a great player - the Euro's and Uefa Cup showed this.
2 - his attributes would suit us - fast, skilful, can open a defence, great movement. An upgrade on Keano (though it'll be tough to find anyone who will score as many as Robbie).
AND 3 - Someone on the forum suggested we may be signing Arshavin (and or Pavyluchenko) to attract a wealthy Russian into buying the club. It may be wild thought now, but I can see something behind this notion.
