Since when has this been a thing?...in any case, with Jan out for a while of course he's not going anywhere. In fact, that's probably just scuppered Fazios chance of leaving this January.

The whole idea of him leaving is absurd. Wimmer is clearly third choice cb and will have plenty of chances to play given Jan's injury. Even with Jan fit Wimmer would have played an important role.

Well, he won't be leaving now that Jan is out for about two months. I think he will do fine. Stay calm and Poch on.

Here's Wimmer's chance to show how good he is. He has looked solid enough when he has appeared.
Still think Fazio can go, Got Dier as potential cover after Wimmer, and if we did use him Bentaleb could take over Dier's current role?
Jan injury a blow, but one we can hopefully manage our way though.

Jan takes the ball out of defence, advances up the park and can distribute the ball very well.

This injury set back will affect how we play in the short term.

Toby gives us that cross field diagonal Dawson like pass, it's good but let's just say it ain't Carling.

We need Jan back, and fast.
