I'll take a 2.1 loss tonight please Bob and a draw at the weekend.
3 games against City with a win, a loss and a draw. That would do me fine. Plus we go through.

Win tonight - no brainer.

I'd be conflicted between win tonight or make top four. Think I'd still go for win tonight. Isn't that the whole point?

One of Tottenham or Ajax in the final would just be amazing and a giant f*** you to the plastic clubs.
Shame it won't be the final. I would honestly not begrudge them winning it if we didn't.

I am surprised the vote is as close as it is...

Win tonight and it is a CL semi-final.

We don't need to win on Saturday to make top-4 (and as a double whammy, if we do win on Saturday, it probably gifts the league to Liverpool.)

Win tonight. Absolute no brainer for me because losing tonight means we're out of the competition whereas even if we lose on Saturday we can still finish top 4 so it's not a do or die situation like tonight is.

People are aware of that, I just think the "spirit of the question" though is more like "go through tonight or win on Saturday" if you're going to be pedantic about it.

True - but if the question is win tonight or Saturday - my answer is unequivocally win tonight.

Go out and win the match and set a marker for the world to see.

And, as I said earlier - win on Saturday, and Liverpool win the league. I hate Liverpool - much more than I hate City.

I think we can afford to drop points at City in the League but still finish top 4. We have the quality to win the remaining league games which should be enough. A draw would be great though as it keeps City in the title race and keeps our confidence high.

I would love to see us get through tonight more than anything. Ajax in the semi would be amazing, winnable but extremely tough. A final with Barca would be the ultimate dream.

When I first saw the thread, I thought, 'hmmmm.... interesting'

But, as has been shown we don't have to win tonight to go through, so the usual jaded, critical eye of the Spurs fan has found the chink in the armour!

Don't you bloody start! ;) I've been away from this forum for a while and thought 'let's have a bit of audience participation' before the big game tonight. Low a behold I've picked a day when all the clever buggers are in. The idea has taken on a Brexit feel.

When will I learn ;)
