Terrible in possession. Nothing being gained or offered from the wide areas and winks cant make a successful forward pass.
Just hope for the clean sheet as this setup doesnt look like its getting anymore goals.

If we can hold on to the lead, we will have benefitted from a significant slice of luck. Not a lot between us and them this game.

Don’t get the negativity. It’s been a very close game with chances for both teams. Wolves are a good side and we are doing well against them so far. I think some people want to look for negatives constantly.

Decent performance. I think there are some really nice patterns to our play, one touch, forward thinking. The issue is that the quality hasn't been there. Winks with a few poor passes, Doherty with a few, Davies with a few, even Son with a few. Encouraging though.

Whilst our defensive play is so well structured, it's gutting that our attacking play seems entirely ad-hoc.

Doherty looks a bit off the pace atm, physically and mentally. I don't want to jump on him too much as the aftermath of COVID has been documented to go on for months after the virus has left peoples system's.

A second goal doesn't look likely so we just have to hope the lads hold for the clean sheet

We've seen this story before, correct? We will have a breakdown leading to a Wolves goal, and then since we play completely defensive and on our heels the whole game, we will have no ability to strike up an attack and just play for a draw, probably giving up another goal in the process.

I bet the players just love playing like this.

I can blame people for overreacting. Literally 5 minutes in and people are saying we are shit, we are boring and to take XX off. No patience and honestly no logic to half the comments in here. Just see one bad moment and instantly want a change.

I agree with you on that, better to save judgement until the end of the match, lets just hope we can hold on

Definite improvement with some of our possession play with Winks in the middle, but his passing has let him down a few times in the final third when he could have put us in. Tanguy has been central to everything good we’ve done.

Defensively we look strong and Reggie/Davies have nullified Traore pretty well.

Son has been pretty awful but nearly always is, when he is played on the right.

Good platform set. Need to make sure we come out with the right mentality second half, I pray we don’t come out and try and bus park for 45 mins. Plenty of options to switch the formation if needed.

complain when we lose= knee jerk
complain when we win=negative

when according to the forum can we hold the team to high standards?
I know the ticket prices have levelled up........our expectations cant proportionately?
You are being way too general. There are plenty of times for complaints, especially when we lose. But we lost to Liverpool and people said we are a joke. Really? A close lose to the title holders while we are second in the table. That’s knee jerk.

Want to complain about a player who has been shit for more than a game, fair game. But calling for Sissoko or Aurier’s head after their first bad game in 2 months is knee jerk.
