bring back Robbo in the summer

Mate to be honest - I would rather stick with Gomes. I wouldn't take Robbo back.

I would take Reina though ...in a heartbeat.

But seriously...a bid for Ben Foster I could see happening - if Harry wanted to sign a new keeper.

to be honest i agree with you. Its not good to bring back players.

agree with reina but my manu u mates up here tell me a 25 million bid is in the offing from them to replace V Der sar.

I do think we need a decent option at no 2 though. who i do not know.

I like gomes but when he plays for 90- mins like that beiong so indecisive forcing the back four to drop deeper than is neccessary thus inviting the oppositon on to you asks for trouble hence we drew and should have lost as it was a fair goal that was disallowed.

I would guess he probably gioves us more points than he costs.

i said sandro had great game pal. our best player by miles. and like i said earlier i call things like i see it. jenas and certain other players are fucking joke and its the reason now why we arent crusing in 3rd place let alone challenging united. we need substantial up garde on jenas huton and ekotto if we are to seriously challenege titel and i have not even mentioned any striker yet. time anad again retarted defending lets us down and just poor central midfield play who stand off their markers , let them run and no be as a unit solid. it will go to the wire again but we should have 4th position sown up already if these sort of players werent playing

My point was that if you could see Sandro having a good game, then you should've seen Jenas having one as well, but your obvious bias doesn't allow you to see what's happening right in front of you.

Should I bother pointing out that Jenas was probably our best player against Blackburn? Or that Hutton was brilliant against Chelsea?

We didn't play very well yesterday, but that doesn't automatically make it the fault of the players you don't like. I slate Pav every week (because every week he's shit) but yesterday he had a reasonably good game, and Defoe had a blinder.

You need to stop hating players based on the fact that you don't like them and learn to judge them on actual performances over a number of weeks (you'll claim that you do, but you clearly don't).

Oh and by the way, BAE was brilliant yesterday. Don't listen to Chris Coleman, there's a reason he keeps getting sacked.

Mate to be fair, Sandro was our best midfielder yesterday - that much was obvious.

Call a spade a spade, JJ was alright yesterday..nothing more, nothing less.

I know the point you're making though and I agree....he clealry wasn't as bad as he was making out.

I do feel Jenas should be a bit quicker to close down though.

I think BAE got too much stick yesterday. They said that he had tonsilitis and got out of his sick bed to play. Did ok IMO considering he must have felt like shit. Plus how many other players would have cried off for the game? Shows his commitment and is willingness to play for the team.

I think a lot of us expected Spurs to lose before the match, so a draw isn't a bad result. I would have taken it beforehand, it's just a bit sick we had to concede near the end.

Some of the positives were we looked good when going forward, and when Bale came on we could have finished the game off.

Once VDV is back too, we are right on par again. Defoe has broken the bad spell too, so he should come good!

Let's hope City lose a few games, their 'holding midfielders' could be their downfall

posting rubbish about him.. go fuck yourself pal.. i call it like i see it.. only for sandro yesterday we wud have def lost that game. he had cramp after 60 mins he did so much covering and tackling. jenas barely broke seat and again offered us nothing. every time he plays we fuck up in some capacity, its beyond a joke.

Yes you call it as you see it, trouble is you have made up your mind what you are going to see before it happens. As Bobbins said "total shit" and keep your pathetic insults to yourself aswell.

I'd like to see us bring in a young keeper to challenge Gomes, Cudicini doesn't really threat Gomes and I'm not sure what Pletikosa's up to.

I recall Gomes losing his place in the team to Cudicini for a brief spell when Carlo was first brought in and then we he was put back in goal we went a load of games without conceeding. Maybe some competition would do him well.

The main thought for the night is simples!
I do not rate Jenas, I concede he played well in quite a few matches recently. But .. Big But he set up the goal and his set up was superb. face it in retrospect he played very well for about 85 minutes. it was the subbing that sucked. BIG TIME.i
