What Harry must be thinking with all this activity going on with the new signings and possible signings?

I really don't care, but I am sure he will real out some bull about never having had full backing from the chairman blah blah. Lets just hope he gets a job managing Pompey or someone where he can work his media magic.

I suspect he'd be thinking that Sigurdsson and Vertonghen are far too young and talented for us. On the other hand he'd probably be creaming himself at the prospect of Carvalho.

Why diss Harry? He did a great job for us and has taken his sacking with good grace. Nothing against the OP but unmitigated trash from the subsequent comments so far. Sad.

Because I don't like him. That said, I stand by what I said.

He'd be wondering how we let Fulham beat us to Rodellga. Would have done a nice deal to get him on a loan. Sorted!

On the plus side he wouldn't have had to spend the whole summer denying we were interested in Lampard and Cole but telling everyone they were t'riffic lads and top top players.

Boris, what if he didn't do a great job for us, would the comments be understandable then?

Dont really care tbh, I thought it was time for him to go.

If I had to guess though, he's probably thinking why we havent made a move for that triffic strike partnership of Heskey and Owen, how come we havent sorted out loan moves for Joey Cole and Rio Ferdy and that Ryan Nelsen should have been given a new four year deal

Agree . Most of the comments are pathetic .

These will be the same people who will start applauding the board of directors if it doesn't work out for AVB and they sack him .

Very strange .

I don't think he would care because before the England job we did offer to back him in the summer and wanted to keep his options open, I think he may twist to say that we never really backed him but I think during that period we were saving for the stadium(before funding was sorted) and we were waiting for the training ground to be completed as well Harry's situation to be clarified

I take it you enjoyed watching Spurs for the last few years? How about a little respect for a manager who took us to the quarters of the Champions League, got us beating Arsenal, developed Bale and Modric etc..

Respect is all fine, but it all depends on your expectations. Getting 4-5-4 is not Spurs punching above their weight, it's Spurs meeting expectations. I want us to win things, and he was never going to be the man to do that for us.

You can enjoy the football a manager has a team producing, and respect the work he has done, without actually liking him. 'Arry always just made me laugh, and I always said that when anyone said they didn't like him, but I always understood that they were entitled to not like him, and could still like the football they were watching, etc.

You can also dislike someone without taking pot shots at them like "I am sure he will real out some bull about never having had full backing from the chairman blah blah".

I don't see why Harry would come out and say that, infact in every interview he's done since he left he's only had nice things to say about the club and where we're headed. I don't want a debate, I just don't like the growing trend where people are in some cases making twattish comments about a manager who served us very well.
