Wpuld it have counted even of he'd scored? He stopped his run. He didnt stutter it.
Was way worse than sons.
Responsibility. No one wants to shoulder it anymore. The ridiculous thing is that VAR only seems to come in when the attacker makes a meal of it. All these pushes in the area are still fouls and they go unpunished.
I just don’t like VAR, the delay is too long. Why can’t a second ref just call it?
If some of you aren't happy with how VAR handled that situation then it's pretty safe to say you'll never like it. Everyone expected it to be an absolute disaster with a half dozen long delays each match. Can you really say you haven't been impressed with how efficient its been?
Too many grey areas for this to be something that is used so often. If you the fan can't understand then how can the official.
Imagine i put a whole 25 pence on Christensen to score a header and peru to score a pen at 400/1 and @Trix mate goes and does that
Farfan is Defoe’s Nordic cousin aint he?
As long as they get the correct decision in the majorities view then I guess it's okay.Getting decisions correct shouldn't be contingent on the "average fan" (who let's be honest often isn't the brightest) understanding why the right decision has been made.
So far, VAR has worked perfectly. The only people really railing against it are old men like Lawro who can't rely on their eyes anymore and clueless wankers like Phil Neville who wouldn't know what a football looked like if he fell over one.
I thought apart from the pen catastrophe he had a very good first half.
Fucking leave Lawro alone, he says it how it is.Getting decisions correct shouldn't be contingent on the "average fan" (who let's be honest often isn't the brightest) understanding why the right decision has been made.
