Good coach who hasn't had enough time with the team and won't be able to sort out a defence far too ropey to be able to win a World Cup.

I think he'd also prefer working with a good energetic collective, than this Messi-centric collection of ill-matched and ageing bunch.

Oh I absolutely agree. I just think that both Portugal and Argentina both tried to play mainly through their ‘main men’, and was trying to articulate why I think this works better for Portugal than Argentina

I get ya. Ronaldo can also play that central fulcrum type role, but I much prefer Messi as a wide right forward, drifting around.
