Would you hate Robbie Keane

If he left us for Liverpool? Or would you accept it as a career progression? Scumbell lied to us all and said he wanted to stay. I hate him. Carrick was chosen by Jol over the pirate to be our lynch pin, he left us. I hate him. Keane has lead us all to believe he loves the club... How would you feel?

I don't know, I suppose it would depend on the circumstances, if we got a fair price and the club were happy for him to leave and he came out and was honest about it, then I suppose I wouldn't hate him for it.

I love Keane, and he can leave with my best wishes, if he wants to go. Good luck to him!

However, I don't believe he wants to go.

I would honestly question whether it would be a career progression. IMO, Liverpool will struggle to hold on to 4th spot next season whilst I fully expect us to be pushing strongly for that position again (after last season's short blip)!

As for Robbie leaving? If it happened I don't believe I would hate him. If it was Arsenal or Chelski then yes, obviously. If he went to Liverpool or another club outside London then fine. It is rare these days for a player to remain with 1 club throughout his best years and I am very happy with what Robbie has done for Spurs since he arrived. I also believe that, whilst he is an excellent player, I think he would be easily replacable (as opposed to Berbatov).

IMO, however, I love Robbie as a Spurs player and I honestly believe he loves being a Spurs player and would have no intention of leaving. It is also an exciting time for Spurs and I would assume that the players feel the same way. If I played at the club I'm damn sure I wouldn't want to leave right now.

The only ex player I really hate is Campbell. I never hated Teddy or Carrick for leaving and I certainly wouldn't hate Keane. I tend to follow the careers of our old players. I still get a buzz when Defoe scores, even though it's not for us. I was really pleased for Carrick that things have gone so well for him at Utd and was equally happy for Teddy when he had his successful time there.

Would you hate me if I bedded all five of Girls Aloud?

You know, while we're dealing in far-fetched hypotheticals.

Its the deception that does my head in. He has made us think he has found his home and he would never leave no matter what. I thought we would have to kick him out the door screaming.

I wouldnt hate Keane and I wouldnt hate Berbatov. Obviously I'd rather they didnt go to an English team, but unlike Judas they havent lied to us and we will get money to compensate, and the way Levy is running the club we will get what the players are worth.

I'd rather not have Crouch chucked in to the deal, but thats a different story

Robbie like any football player lives in the moment, when they say they are happy and wouldn't leave it's because at that moment they see anything making them want to leave, however, as a professional if this offer did come in you odn't think he wouldn't consider it?

Let's no think that he's made promises, I feel he truley loves the club, but that doesn't mean he can't move on, other greats have done it and we still love them.

Not to mention there has been no proof that he even considered the offer.

An Irishman playing for Liverpool is a big deal, its his boyhood club, they are consistently in the Champions League (and do well in it), he'd play up front with Torres, the current media darling. Would be gutted, but he'd still be a hero to me after a 100+ goals for us. I would be more upset if it was someone other than Liverpool to be honest, as it wouldn't make sense for him to leave us. Anyway, Ramos kept subbing him all season, so I don't think he's his type of forward, and in Juande I trust.

Completely agree with every word of this post. Anyone who says they would hate Keane for going to his boyhood club where his idol played after years of serving Spurs to the utmost of his ability, is a complete and total mug.

I think the guy's given Spurs some of the best years of his career. The best however is still to come. Keano will know this and so if he stays he will elevate himself to one of the Greats of our Club.

would be gutted.i'v wanted him at spurs since he was at wolves.but i could not blame him if he left for a top 4 team that seems to do well in the champs league.this again is the reason we wont make top 4.every time we do well a top team will come after are players and most will want champs league footy.hate to say it but in 2 years time i can see the summer head lines being modric and dos santos to chelsea or bale and bentley(if we or another team outside the top 4 get him).sad but true......if the top 4 come calling, most team know what will happen.

If he leaves I won't 'hate' him, although I will know that he shouldn't be leaving...
