I love journalist speak haha. What the hell does "keeping tabs on him" involve? Do we have some guys in a black SUV following him around?

Tbf how can you believe a word they say when they don't even know what team he plays for, or even in which country? Jokers.

Algerian journalist on TFC has said it's probably best to ignore our links with him. The original link didn't even get his current club right. Said he's most likely Udinese or Porto bound.

If we're going to pick up anyone from Algeria it should be one of Rais, Ghoulam, or Slimani. The first two seemed incredibly talented and adept at their positions while the latter did that and managed to skip around the German defense with ease on some instances. Would be a great second option if we sold one of our forwards, and he seems able to both play up top as a lone striker or in a compact 4-3-3.

Brahimi seems good, but I'm not sure he's suited to the English game. I wouldn't quite say he's a poor-man's Townsend but he's not a significant-enough upgrade on Townsend to spend 15 M...

One i'm definitely not worried about letting slip by.

Brahimi would tear Serie A apart, that's for sure. More time on the ball to pick the right pass, slower defenders for him to dribble through, etc.

Looks like his job for his club is to draw a 2nd defender (or they're just dual marking him to shut him down), so no surprises on the 3 goal, 3 assist front.

Would be more interested to see how often he is the first or second pass before the assist. Valuable player who probably could do more in a team where the opposition don't sit on him.
