Yaya Toure has explained what working at Tottenham has been like so far, his interaction with Antonio Conte and his hopes for the future.
At the end of last year, Yaya Toure turned up at Hotspur Way in a Tottenham tracksuit and his work at the club has continued. Toure played for the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona during his career, making over 300 appearances for the former, scoring 79 goals and registering 49 assists in the process.

This completely escaped me, I had no idea he was at the club.

Yeah, I vaguely remember hearing about it at the time but had no idea that he was still there.
I'm all for the club helping ex pros after their playing careers.

It's Football.London. Ads and clicks are all they seem to care about

In case anyone wants to avoid the obvious click-bait answer, Yaya literally says he said "Hi" to Conte and that's it. Doesn't even reveal if Conte said 'hello' back.

I'm not even joking. It's not worth even copying that part of the article.

I did the same ?

Scroll, scroll, scroll

"Hi"

Ffs.

I'm surprised it wasn't another "from what I'm told" article where alaistair proceeds to tell you what he read on twitter about a transfer rumour.

"You'll never believe what he said"...
"From what I'm told..."
"SHOCK decision set to be made..."

All headlines that come out of shitpost articles.

"Emma de duve" that is the name of the author and to be honest I'd be surprised if it's a real person.

She only writes clickbait stuff, that is 90% fantasy that would make clubcall blush. Someone should ask Ali G in his next video why he is even associated with such tools.

Also to @mawspurs please can you stop posting this guff. With football London it should be a general rule, if it's not from gold or guest it needs checking, because it is probably absolute garbage.

On the suggestion section I put up the idea of a quality control or good sources only for Front Page News. Didn't get any votes.

Nothing against the article, I only read the preview on SC rather than go to football Londons site.
It did make me chuckle though the way it was worded, that Yaya “turned up at Tottenham, and has continued working there” - like he just took his chances Peter Odemwingie style in a tracksuit to see if he landed a job ?

Her writing is so bad that I assumed she was writing in her sleep under a duvet. I'm a bit of an old git about this sort of thing and I wrote to her once to politely correct her expression. I got no answer but then I thought that maybe she can't read.
And then there are the endless adverts of course... It's a tedious and superficial site that really needs to be put to sleep.

Not reading the article but always a good opportunity to say that Yaya was one of the most complete midfielders the prem has ever seen with probably only Gerrard giving him a run for his money in my opinion and my favourite non spurs prem player.
