Sorry about that mate, he always does a dissapearing act. He did the same at wembley for 2 hours we missed our coach home and had to wait for him.
Oh yes and always likes a sing song too.

Louis

no worries

At some grounds now they are reducing the tickets they give to away clubs whos fans stand.

So next season at Birmingham they only send us 1000, tickets, who is then to blame.

Clubs all have a licence and it includes that fans must sit in their ground, if they do not control the fans, they can get the ground closed.

there has never even been a warning from the authorities, they should 'manage the situation' not enforce everyone to sit in a way that causes conflict. Man City now have a 'singing area' and the stewards are instructed to allow fans to stand. will the ground get closed, no it won't

They definitely don't encourage standing up at brum.

You only have to look what they did to Eduardo to see that.

I was at Man City last season, and they had a notice up warning fans if they did not sit, they would reduce the number of tickets that they send them.

If Man City are allowing their fans to stand, they are not keeping to the law, and the City council could close them down, they told Man U to make sure they kept their fans seated, or they would close areas at O/T

At the Man City cup game, we stood for the whole of the game, not one steward asked us to sit down.

The FSF & SUSD are obviously not happy at the way the stewarding took place on Saturday and they want to put a report together to pass onto the authorites. They need reports from the guys who were kicked out for standing so if that was you, make yourself known...
All help greatly appreciated, this kind of action could one day help to bring safe standing areas into English football grounds

This thread is nonsense imo. I was at the game and one of the things I observed when entereing the ground, were the nurmerous signs that said along the lines, if you dont sit down you will be evicted.

What more do you want? Its their ground and rules, if you dont want to sit then you should not go. Its respecting your Hosts rules.

I for one had a go at a bloke who was consistently blocking my view when he kept standing up!

Respect goes two ways, when you want the visiting supporters to respect and abide by our rules at the lane, we should reciprocate when visiting theirs, simple as!

Good job you are not a Arsenal fan !!

Although a Manchester United fan, I won't comment on the situation at Old Trafford since Colin Hendrie of IMUSA has done that very well. However, the situation at Arsenal is apparently worse - at the Emirates Stadium, stewards now eject Arsenal fans for singing even if they are still sitting down, according to various comments I've seen posted on football fan message board forums. Quite ridiculous, but sadly typical of the sterile, sanitised atmosphere that the corporate suits who run Premiership football clubs now appear to want.

Yea, I remembered you saying you were from burton and went to every game.

I knew there couldn't be more than one of that guy.

I was suprised by the amount of our fans being ejected, how do they select individuals when thousands are standing?

Also as I was on my way up the steps one of the stewards was pointing into the seats and saying "right, do you want some?do you want some?" at someone - they have to be a bit more professional than that if you ask me
