technically that is a breach of the rules as the club must approach the selling club first.....not that we'd stand in the way!

What a load of bollox...how on earth could we be intent with our midfield options when we don't use a few of them - at all.

This would be a very good start if we could off load Younes quickly.

Always liked him but I knew he was done at this level when Carlton Cole completely bullied him on the opening day of the season.

He's never been the same since that Fulham match. And it stinks because he was so good in 2011-12 campaign.

Be really pleased if it came off, be good for us, for him as well.
I know he's not what he was as a player but he served us well for a while (short though it may have been).

Two years of knee injuries ruined him, nowhere near as mobile now.

It should be the case after those injuries but its not his physicality that is a problem. In a few games this year he has done his trademark charge down the line just fine. His problem like Chiriches is concentration and irrational actions. He has the pace and strength to be as good as Vidic but the mentality of Titus Bramble. If he could concentrate for 90 minutes like he did against Arsenal we could have a great player but he just isn't capable.

Everton have the most defensive errors leading to goals in Europe. Kaboul makes a ton of sense to shore up that back line with his uber consistency, stalwart defending and spectacular positioning. I can't see a better way to fix an error-riddled unit!

I'll miss Younes as he was very good and I loved the fact he was an absolute beast. But he's definitely not good enough anymore and it's time for him to go. I wish him luck wherever he goes
