I can’t pick one, so I’ve gone with the idea of a championship belt. Who’s my favourite spurs player, when they leave you pick a new one. I’ve been watching since the early 80s so I’ve gone:

Waddle (87-89)
Gascoigne (89-92)
Anderton (92-04)
Ledley (04-12)
Bale (12-13)
Vertonghen (13-20)

Bentancur (23-)

This is kind of the way I see it, but I wouldn't pick a new one immediately - they have to earn the belt and beat the memory, so...
