City
United
Chelsea

I think United fans need a few seasons below City (and us) and I can't stomach Liverpool fans at all.

City
United
Chelsea

Liverpool have over taken Chelsea in my dislike league and Arsenal obviously win that hands down

Both of these.

Liverpool are classless, clueless, deluded idiots.

Did anyone see the twats wearing 'Luis suarez' t-shirts? Pathetic.

Exactly this! Liverpool fans are beyond bias. Now I accept everyone has a bit of bias for their own team but they way past that. Apparently Lucas is the best DM in the league Eek....Adam is the new Xabi Alonso Eek.....Henderson is the new Gerrard Eek...and apparently Luis Suarez is the best striker in the league even though he has scored a whole 9 goals in 30 games....Eek

Now I can agree Suarez is a good player & dictates their play but his goal scoring record is worse than Pavs...!

Us
United
City

The other three clubs are equally hated by me. Can't even put them in an order. Bottom three of the PL preferably.

Considering United and City are pretty much nailed on, I'd like us(obviously) and Chelsea to join them. My reasoning;

The longer Liverpool stay out of the top the the better for us and I think(might be slightly biased) if we finish in the Champions League spots this year we might overtake them and be a more attractive club for big players, not to mention the financial implecations of them missing out for the third year in a row.

Same with Arsenal, although it would take a couple more years to completely overtake them. They're on the decline already and I think if they miss out on the CL spots Van Persie will go and it'll make it more difficult for them to find good replacements if they every decide to finally spend some money.

Chelsea will probably go on another big spending spree, although missing out in the CL spots might make the "rebuilding process" more difficult. Still, I think they could cope better financially and will still be able to attract big name players.

So basically I want Arsenal and Liverpool to miss out because I think they'll be easier to dislodge long-term from the Champions League places than it would be with Chelsea.

Sadly, I'm not sure we're near 'overtaking' the Arse because bottom line is they have way higher revenue, CL or not.

Good points though and have to agree with the result. The question (this season) is really pick 2 out of Chels, Arse, Liv to not qualify. You have to think that if Chels failed then Abramovich would throw another load of money at it just before FFP comes in. They would struggle to meet FFP rules when they eventually came in but they're exploring a new stadium with naming rights etc. so might not be far off some mega-deal fudge there

I can't see that Henry guy spending big again at Pool without prospect of CL football (though he does have a reputation for turning teams around via innovative methods in the US). It would take serious money to improve them enough to 'expect' CL qualification and that's a hell of a gamble so failure again might adjust their expectations and make them focus on balancing the books first

As above, of the three, Arse are the only ones with stadium capacity to survive without CL and FFP but they would have to trim their wage bill not increase it. Their reputation has taken a hammering. We want that to continue so that they lose RVP, the decline deepens and hopefully Wenger decides to move upstairs or on and they face the inevitable upheaval of changing everything after 14 years

God no not Newcastle! Can you imagien their bloody fans if they got back in the CL.

Ideally:

Spurs
Fulham
Wigan
Norwich

As apart from us they're the only teams I like!

Realistically, not Arsenal or Liverpool please.

my thought exactly. looking at the bigger picture i.e. finance and attracting players chelsea will always be able to pay 150k plus a week for a player to attract him.

liverpool and arsenal will find it much harder without the financial clout. If we can get the new stadium built asap then our marketability will increase.

top four of man city man utd spurs chelsea for 2011/12 and 2012/13 could see this as being the new top four.

RVP and others would leave arsenal and liverpool.
