Wilfried Zaha’s hopes of a big-money move to Tottenham Hotspur have been hindered by his decision to pick Ivory Coast ahead of England.

He made the decision in mid-Jan, and still there were links during that window.

More likely it's this that will scupper any move:
"Tottenham would have to break their transfer record and make Zaha one of their best-paid players to land the 24-year-old, with Palace valuing him at over £30million and preparing a new contract offer worth £110,000-a-week."

Matt Law does have a history of writing pure fiction so this bit is interesting:
"While a move for Zaha is not certain, Spurs will make a big bid for their number one summer target Ross Barkley, who will only have one year remaining on his Everton contract at the end of the season."

Not might, not could, this time it is WILL. We'll see.

Zaha for £30m or Sissoko for £30m, Levy's dropped a bollock with that one.

I'm not convinced by Zaha. He's got pace but is he much better than Townsend? For 30m I'd like a player who can make a big difference. I also think Onomah could become a very good player if he gets a chance.
