Well we tried to sign Milito before so presumably the club have already been over some of the personal details. Seems more realistic than some of the other names being thrown about.

On another note, isn't Aguero earning mega money at Atletico? I would've thought he'd be on £100k+

Sky just mentioned how it will now be a 'dramatic' deadline day...seems a bit convenient for them that these stories have come out - from their own source - that will ensure they have viewers glued to the screen.

Would love it if we signed Milito, we should definitely sign him, Eto'o and Sneijder, maybe chuck in Pandev. And Julio Cesar as back-up for Pletikosa. And Cambiasso in case Jake Livermore gets injured.

Not Maicon though.

This is where Levy is about to be tested.

If we pull this/ese off then I will retract all I have said about ambition, we will have moved on.

I love the fact that no deadline day would be complete without Tottenham Hotspur!

Are people seriously suggesting that DL may buy Diego Milito...AND someone else!

Has Joe Lewis suddenly ploughed cash into the club or something, the fees being thrown around are incredible. British transfer record if they come off!

YES people we know that "SSN are saying weve bid for Augero" weve been discusing for the last 20 pages. Geez, that news was sooo last hour

You forgot the bit about the bid being rejected... think that's the key bit.

Yes. A sensible target. An experienced, a strong striker. Inter just signed another striker etc. I still doubt we'll get anyone in who isn't completely underwhleming but if Spurs do pull off a shock last minute signing then Milito would be a cracking one.
