I've learnt nothing from this thread today other than the fact that I'm apparently the only person who doesn't have some sort of link with Jake Livermore. The man is clearly a friend-whore.

Has very large and vaired reaching family, from Tottenham, Edmonton, Enfield, Cheshunt, Cheshunt, Broxbourne, Hertford, Ware and god knows where else. Everyone in close family does everything from run doors on clubs and prize fighting to A designer and an builder! Lot of good people in his family.

Hello everyone, been on holiday and things seem to have gone a little mental whilst away.
I found out tonight that LFC made a last minute increased offer to Gylfi today. Still not as high as its believed the Spurs offer is but higher than the contract he agreed at Swansea with Rodgers which is all we were willing to offer him until today. This is off our best lad so I believe it 100%
No idea if it will make any difference or not. The main influence here is some Barnett fella (I think thats his name) who is his agent and obviously wants him to take the higher offer which is fair enough I'm told by an Icelandic journo whose familiar with them and said his family, inparticular his Dad, is not 100% happy with things as he has so much respect and faith in Rodgers.
Thats all I know upon getting home but I would say this is still not finished 100%. Told it will be finsished tomorrow as Hoffenheim gave him a deadline. No idea where he is going to end up but hunch says Spurs as LFC offer too late to prove anything. FSG tried to play poker and lost.
Hope everybody on here is fine and well and enjoying the transfer window!

If he goes there - hes done an absolute Petit, and done a last second, sodded us about turnaround. And I for one be gutted that we didnt do more over the weekend, and even post medical to get him to sign, and not 'its ok, leave it to next week, get your head sorted' approach.
Think his agent will be screwing too, especially as your looking at losing the best part of 200-400k in fees and commish

No I am not his friend either. And wouldn't want to be as he obviously has self-esteem issues and rates # of acquaintances with self-worth.
On the other hand, I definitely want to see a war film with him as the captured soldier.

well lets hope it gets announced soon then! swansea seem to think hes ours but the rumours going around this way is that hes off to liverpool again!
