Hang on, Akqayid has personally overseen a deal for Brazilian starlet Oscar?!

He's getting a bit above his station now, isn't he?! :D

Oh for the love of god.....

Fuck my ancient footwear.

Backwards.

Over a bicycle.

You know what hurts the most. Levy got so pissed on Sangria that he lost that wheelbarrow somewhere in the Extremadura and we've been struggling for transfers ever since.

Been personally overseen. Was scouted by IB first, and AvB when over there in April/May.
25m Euros. Club Record.
AvB was scouting in Apr/May, when he was out of work?
Value increased from 10m (when Liverpool were interested, last August?) to 25m in under a year?
Work permit?

Why would a young, career minded manager not continue to scout and keep up to date with potential quality players even whilst he is unemployed??

Regarding Ledders - I heard something which sides more with POTL's version of things as opposed to some of the other ITK saying it's already decided. Not ITK by any means - more like complete and utter luck:

My boss was at a kids football tournament this weekend which King's son was also playing in. He got to meet the great man (who was apparently incredibly friendly and spoke to everyone who came to talk to him/ask for autographs etc. didn't turn one person/kid away) anyways - he did say directly to my boss that at the moment things were 50:50 as to what he's going to be doing next year in terms of if he's able to play.

So make of that what you will, unfortunately due to King's time being of a premium and my boss not being a Spurs fan, not a lot else was discussed.

This is the wrong thread so I won't comment any further other to say.

- We had a 22m accepted for Juan Mata but couldn't agree personal terms FACT

- We had a 20m bid rejected for Kenwyn Jones during Harrys first transfer window FACT

There are other examples that also prove we have the money for the transfer fee but have been unable to get the deal done.

This is what makes me think we would spend 20m+ on a player.

I don't actually believe we have signed Oscar though...

hahahahahahaahahah do me a favour.

I dunno if that's ITK. What's Ledders' track record like?

Does anyone think AVB might try and play like Spain did? I.e. without a striker and players interchanging between the front 5 positions.

Lloris
Walker Kaboul Verts BAE
Oscar Sandro VDV
Lennon Siggy Bale

No. I think we will be pushing hard to bring in Adebayor +1 more

A size-able chunk of our transfer budget must surely be going on a goal keeper. Is Lloris the only one we have been linked with? And of the 3 on our books, which is most likely to be retained? I'm guessing it;s Brad unless we get a decent bid for him.

Can i just point out to everybody that seems to be confused that Akqayid's post says €25m not £25m for Oscar. It's pretty much bang on £20m which is not a great step up from the £17m we paid for Bentley, especially as it's highly unlikely to be paid all in one go.

Indeed. SpursKing does it and he isn't even a manager (well not including Championship Manager at least)
