So far, I agree with you. In addition to Vertonghen and Sigurdsson we've also had Bale and Caulker sign new contracts.
I think I and many others are just beginning to get the first trickles of cold sweat breaking out as we realise we are a long way from being 'battle-ready' for the new season, and with a manager that needs to shape his team we're very much up against the clock this summer.
Adebayor, Leandro, Remy....fuck it, if we've still only got Defoe and Kane as our recognised strikers when deadline day arrives I'll settle for Emile Heskey in a Drogba mask.

where does it say im stressed out by it.??. i find it hilarious on here if anything . spurs will do bare mininum and thats its with regards signings. if we want to compete in the top 3 or 4 now we are simply going to have to buy at least 5 or 6 players excluding what we have at this very moment in time. for me thats at least 2 strikers. a winger/ wide player . a modric replacement . a goalkeeper .
If we can't afford them, hope AVB is given time, at least 18 months to try to find and develop some young talent.

total shit . if madrid want him like they say they will get him . yes they are trying to save a few quid but spurs wont relent .. thats obvious but we are not talking about dealings between spurs and madrid and modric here. im talking about spurs as the buying club not selling club.
listen i cud ramble on and on like you can but bottom line is .. if spurs want to challenge and go for trophies then proper players cost decent money. bidding pennies for them isnt going to work and pronlongng the whole process. end of.
if there is an agreement between a player (that he wants to leave and would be interested in joining spurs) and his club then get the deal done asap thats all im saying. we missed out loads of times im sure . now i know agents come into play here and they get up to all kinds of shite but levy is around long enough now. i think spurs are naive in transfer market myself and not clinical or decisive enough.
