Some of the ITK has led us to believe that we are close to or trying for a striker that is better than adebayor, there have been a lot of bluffs and counter bluffs, yet our supposed interest in Leandro has been played out fairly public, I know it is fantasy football but spurs may sneak the big one in under the radar.....falcao, and failing that, if it goes according to interest shown in a player and it's Leandro then either way exciting times at WHL

There's no way Atletico will want to sell him until the whole Malaga thing is played out.

What does Malaga's woes have to do with Atletico? Malaga aren't buying, Atletico still need money, the two are not linked.

Excuse my ignorance, but how I they linked. I haven't looked into it, bar knowing that Malaga are fucked.

Athletico owe the Spanish taxman over £100 million in taxes. I'm sure they need to sell some players

Really don't want to get my hopes up and not saying we'll sign him but everything points to Falcao based on what JJ and David have said, if you take both bits of itk at face value. Falcao and poss Hulk the only ex Porto players Chavs would be bothered about, Falcao the player JJ has pooh poohed and is an indisputable upgrade on Adeabyor. Could it be? Would be amazed if it happens but you never know....

That's the 2nd time in a few days a post of mine has been rated dumb by someone who has never posted on the site. Fuck you, invisible fuckfaces.

*awaits dumb stuff*
Think it may be just people scrolling on phones, not realising what they have done, the dumb icon is far right of the screen, just where you put your thumb when scrolling, or as I prefer FFS (Fat Finger Scrolling)

Is that fact or speculation?

Cant be 100 percent on it mate,,,im no itk,,,but it seems to be getting reported everywhere that they,ve rejected a 12 million offer from sunderland,,and are holding out for a couple of mill on top on that,,

although i mullered him a few pages back, i do actually think that he would be a good signing for sunderland, there at that stage where they cant attract the same calibre as player as what we can, hence why they have to pay over the odds for average domestic players,,we've been there ourselves,,e,g bentley....just dont want to see him down the lane for that kind of doe.. i mean what would huntelaar cost,,,17 mill,,we could attract him where as sunderland dont have the option of putting a couple of mill on top to nab him,,

Atletico finished 5th in La Liga, if Malaga can't take their place in the CL then Atleti will get bumped up.

There's nothing wrong with being optimistic but people seem to be forgetting that the Athletico transfer fee was 31 million with the fee potentially rising to 37 million based on performance-based clauses which you'd have to imagine he reached so id expect a fee of around 40m being what it would take to sign him, is that feasible? Sorry for being so negative, to be honest I'm probably only writing this to make myself believe it's not possible but my god he would be some force in the bpl

the euro was much stronger last year so it was a fair bit more than that, which backs up your point even more.
