Gomes would have saved it - and there lays the dilema. Yes, occasionally he made errors, however equally he made saves most can't. If we could blend his ability Friedel's temproment then we would be on to a winnerz

(I'm biting my tongue massively on this too).
Not being able to catch a ball,and generally acting like a complete fuckin idiot, has got nothing to do with temproment,hes a clumsy clown,,, Gomes is an absolute liability,,biggest calamity in the premiership, twice as much of a calamity than what calamity james ever was,, get rid,never want to see him play for us again,,hes cost us so many points in the past that its a complete joke,,

Just don't see it....sorry mate but it's not like Gomes saved every shot he faced....and that was a bit of a belter,started outside the post and came back in,found the only part of the goal that it's practically impossible to cover.
And let's face it, the bad far outweighs the good with Gomes,I don't think the same can be said for brad.

The goal had MUCH more to do with Ba being wide open and having time to shoot because Gallas was late covering him.

He didn't say that. He said Similar bean pole type players. In relation to Carroll being a similar mould to Adebayor as far as this type of player goes.
LD and Llorente are different types of "bean poles"
