Why not? Must be one of the top scorers in Europe across the last three seasons. Would rather pay that then spend 15 million on a risk

I know sweet FA about how these deals are normally structured, but maybe the fact that Valencia are (apparently) willing to accept delayed payment of half of the fee makes this viable for Levy.

Some people are never happy

Signing Soldado whatever the price is a massive sign of intent for us to progress as a club. If we get 4 good years out of him and CL football for at least 3 of these years he will have paid for himself.

Besides i'm quite sure it won't be 30m up front,it will have numerous add ons

I'm not going to complain it's not my money just seems a nonsensical move if we are looking historically at our transfer policy.
