missing a trick if we cant or don't get a player off madrid in truth.. we have serious issues at left back and with a lack of real top end left backs out there we should get coentrao...

if he does not want to come seriously get that striker morata or at a complete strech benzema... some player should be included in deal

You say, compare the team to six years ago, and I'm sure.on paper its much better, but we have been getting to the top 5 regularly for years.

All very well buying new players with the cash but when are we going to actually go for something bigger?

They have given nothing back to the fans by way of ambition, just kept us ticking over and over. Also fans every years.

This. Not only is he a brilliant British player - he's never seen the inside of a police cell or racially abused anyone AFAIK - this is (sadly) rare these days.

Not it the slightest.
If Wenger buys the players to improve Arsenal from anybody other than us then thats fine.
That good business on their behalf and all clubs do it.
I'm not bothered by what Arsenal do or say - I just want to us get as point as possible from them and every other team.

Arsenal are just one of our rivals - get over yourselves people.

And for the record both of the players in question are very hit and miss.

In my opinion "IF" we get all the proposed players they should replace those goals.
Soldado > Defoe
Chadli > Dempsey
Lamela < Bale

Willian > Lennon
Paulinho > Siggy

Add in Sandro And Kaboul if they get back to full fitness and Capoue added should mean less goals conceded. There is no way you can answer in the coming season how many each would score but in theory they should make up the difference between that Lamela (if we get him) scores compared to Bale. Obviously the dream is that we get Lamela and keep Bale but if that doesnt happen we should be alright.

Also with these players the hope would be that the team will not have so many matches where they do not perform so well.
