Apparently Sandro just unfollowed Willian on Twitter. Legend!

Shame there are no other ball playing creative AM's in world football for £30m or less isn't it?

There are obviously, but not so many with a similar style to Willian. Most we are linked with, are the foot on the ball look up and spot a pass, possession type player like Holtbyu/Gylfi who slow the play down if there isnt an obvious pass. Willian would have offered this as well as driving dribbles, a little trick, the ability to play anywhere behind the striker...

Let's not get too carried away about losing Willian, although I think he is a good player we must remember that the quality of the Russian league really isn't that great.
FFS Aiden McGeady when he left Celtic and went to Russia he was voted the second best winger in the league and he is total crap.
Andros Townsend would be a star in Russia.

I do wonder if they might deal for KDB at all. Seemed willing to deal with him earlier in the window and if Mata isn't going to be sold as JM insists then he could be worth an approach.

watched him only in preseason and he seems decent but is he not the Chavs next big thing?

Classic Mourinho TBH - screws up our immediate transfer plans and probably more importantly to him, throws a potential spanner in the works for the GB transfer. There's no denying he'd do anything to **** up RM given how he believes he was treated over the last few years.

Plenty of other fish in the sea...........................we hope!

Now Mourinho has to deal with satisfying an over-stocked midfield. Had unhappy players at Real Madrid. It seems the Madrid players had no regard for their coach. Looks like he's heading down the same route here. He's making a rod for his own back.

Don't bite my head off but didn't we do something similar to Liverpool with regards to the same player?

Not to the same degree, they'd agree'd a fee and we bettered it.

We'd agreed a fee, done a medical and from what I can tell had the paperwork in order

Enough of him certainly, to know that he is a massive upgrade on Sigurdsson, who I don't particularly rate anyway, and the fact that Holtby wants to be deeper lying, I think that also shows that he'd be much better for us.

*Might* be a bit of an upgrade on what we have, but the prospect of Eriksen when we almost had Willian is a complete let down. No where near in terms of quality or what he could have offered us in my opinion.

Hope levey sticks to his guns and doesnt let Bale leave without us getting this sh1t sorted.

So Maureen wants to keep mata too? They'll have more creativity than a Tracey Emin funded play-school. Must mean that Rooney isnt being sold, which means ozil is staying which means we are not selling Bale. Phew......

Has there been any ITK as to who plan B would be? The Bulgarian kid?

I think it's fair to assume that we won't be seeing much ITK for a bit. The press obviously read these forums and I'd have thought this will make folks a bit less willing to leak info. Not blaming anyone, just saying it'd be an understandable reaction.

anyone of us blaming the club, at least based on the information we have at present, is an idiot plain and simple. the facts are we had a fee agreed, and the player was happy to fly from Russia to take a medical, so we can assume he must've happy with the terms we offered him. we can't control what Chelsea do, but I'm satisfied we did everything we could. blame Levy/the board and the way they deal with transfers all you like, but those same ways just got us the players we've spent the whole summer getting excited over

anyone wanting to criticise, seriously just piss off and go play Football Manager and leave the rest of us in peace

I can't help but think that the those who are most to blame for this colossal fubar are in fact the very people that spend so much time here.

We all demand ITK.....to know what's happening before anybody else. I only do it for the absurdity, but its no different that the people that do it serious.

And so a market like that produces suppliers. And those suppliers tipped SSN and then Chelsea off to this (as much as we want to blame Kia or Mourinho).

And he we are.

Levy always wants lock-down and this proves why.

Time to reevaluate. I feel that I have harmed the club pretty terribly here. Hell I am the one that posted 50% of the rumors that made it to twitter. And if I am hurting the club on the same level as Chelsea that makes me a **** and I really don't want to be a ****

I'm not sure I can even call myself a supporter right now. :(

Willian is a money grabbing ****

Clearly doesn't care about playing for his country or playing in the World Cup, 10 or so games a season for about 150k a week, nice work if you can get it

Lets hope it is the coldest winter on record this winter so he gets frostbite on that Chelsea bench

Judging by the las two times I`ve watched him play for us he`s going to be a star here never mind Russia.

It doesn't throw any spanner in the works. Bale will be going to Madrid. Can people stop claiming he won't. The only reason it won't be announced anytime soon is because we will want to secure deals for replacements before clubs fleece us.

Will those replacements be good enough though? That's the question. With 10 days of the window remaining we're entering the panic buy zone. Or should that be Pjanic buy.
