It would be nice to get the manager, who either that might be in prior to the world cup...

Personally the earliest I think we will announce someone is towards the end of next week… This would then enable the manager to have a full window, to get the players they believe we need to push forwards...

It's essential

Well I am waiting to hear back about a job today and I now have a semi from the De Boer teaser. Today could be very good for me or very very bad.

Quick question: is this condition one in which you should consult a physician if De Boener lasts longer than 4 hours?

Anyone know a doctor?

FDB means probable core of Dembele, Lloris , Eriksen, Jan that's a good thing.

I agree, but what we don't want is another TS situation where he only plays players he "knows"

Most important thing is to get a manager who effectively utilises the whole squad

Dear General Levy

Please get a wiggle on in appointing a manager as this is a busy summer for us SC'ers.

Once a manager is in place we can all move on to arguing about new signings, player sales and what kit mock up is a genuine leak or a good/poor photoshop, whether or not to believe ITK about opening fixtures and if they conspire to derail us immediately.

We only have 12 weeks and 2 days to do this in plus the small matter or a World Cup to pay some fleeting attention to on the off chance there is an Algerian or South Korean wonderkid that 50% of us could convince ourselves will make ua top 4 certanties while the other 50% will counter this with tales of Shane Long who is tried and tested at premiership level.

Some of us may even have holidays booked that further cuts into this time.

In short Dan (no offence with the short bit)...we are very busy people with lots of hypothetical stuff to discuss and disect and we feel you should be aware.

Haha I think you can be assured that such a thing will never happen again. Very extraneous circumstance, that was really only allowed to happen as a result of not only it being Tim, but a man from the development academy.

I think we'll all be happy if we get joint managers FdB and Poch with Ancelotti as Technical Director and Rafa bringing on the half time oranges?

Am I right????............

Really? wasn't there another one who was friends with his agent something

Then there was that other friends with bent

That was the Scout, and Bentley's agent was his uncle. However, he was told to keep his trap shut about the Bentley deal, so that was a fat lot of good. Aside from that, he was very fond of telling people to bet the farm on his sure-fire info. That was why he was known as the Bookies' Friend. Mind you, we lost count of the number of old school friends of Bentley who came out with 'information' that summer.

Hoofhearted definitely knew Bent's family. Trouble was, he then started posting ITK on other players whose families he didn't know.

I used to love Pablo. He was an Irish journo who got absolutely everything wrong, although he kept on claiming he was the one who got the scoop on Jamie Redknapp (like anyone gave a toss). He warned everyone that Bale was a long way from being done—about two hours before Bale signed.
