I love Bobby. Can't quite explain why I have such an attachment to him.

But he oozes quality and holds a passion that many of our players don't seem to.

Would be disappointed to lose him whatever the circumstances, would be tragic to lose him without a large improvement as a replacement and of the players linked (Remy, Wellbeck etc) none share his quality on the ball or in terms of intelligence on the pitch.

If Soldado goes, we better have someone seriously, seriously good coming in...

Be gutted if he goes, he has 15-20 goals in there still.

So playing devils advocate - Paulinho to Chelski in return Torres and £10M enabling Soldado to go back to Spain for £15M. Then using that money to get Schiederling. OR
Paulinho to Man U for straight up £25M?

Paulinho to United is fine with me, if we got Mata in return...

AY on COYS:

I think that Bobby is not buying into the team philosophy and will be moved on if we get a replacement

(Posters on COYS are trying to find out if that's opinion or fact at the moment)

It would be VINTAGE spurs, to spend all transfer window desperately trying to improve weak areas, finally doing so, and then right at the end sell Soldado.

He's not buying into the team philosophy? Or Poch doesn't feel he's suitable?

Weird if its an attitude problem - very, very surprised if that's the case.

I honestly don't know why people keep writing Adebayor off, he is 1 of the top strikers in World football. I don't think people appreciate what we have.

Whilst I agree with your comment about him being a top striker, I just worry that he stay motivated and focused.

Also: ACON.

Don't buy that at all, considering it's never really been his forte, I think Soldado has shown an admirable willingness to play for the team, try to do more outside the box.

Hmmm...I thought there was ITK a week or two ago saying how Poch was happy with him?

He seems to be, from Pre season, more in tune with the triggered pressing than Adebayor and his interchanging with the 3 behind and his passing make him a great fit in my opinion. I trust Pochs judgement but I would only see a Soldado sell as financially motivated.

I guess the guy wants to start football matches and get more than 10 mins when the team is wining 3 nil!! Wouldn't blame him really.
