Do you think levy knows the majority of us are pissed off ? I know he probably doesn't give a fuck but I wonder if he actually senses we know we are being short changed ?

I'm willing to bet who couldn't give a fuck, because he knows we are incapable of knowing all the facts as he does.

We have an excellent training facility and now a coach who is known to be able to coach the best out of the players. Might just be that our ambition is to be an improved Southampton? Top 6 and maybe sneak a cup or two until the stadium is built or we are sold?

Sandro's previous injury is why we 'sold' him.
He can and probably will be a big player for QPR but due to the nature of his injury and referred pain and linked issues to that he will also have a lot of time away.
Not ideal to let go of him but take into consideration his contract running down and later sell on value if he has another stop start season, his injuries and also what we have in the same role its a sensible yet not emotional decision.

And to fair he isn't ideal for the system posh uses

Only allowed 23 senior players in our Premier League squad,
due to few home grown players.
Two players will miss out - most likely Khumalo and Assou-Ekotto though.

Dier doesn't have to be registered until next season, by which time one of Kaboul / Chiriches will have left.

By then Friedel will be replaced, probably with a HG 3rd GK.

BAE will have his contract paid up or get a loan.

Khumalo will go on loan for another year..

..until Levy accepts we're not going to get £200k for him like the Obika windfall.

Mate he's embarrassing because he's happy to plod along in 6th and get our pants pulled down everytime we play a proper side. I heard the same shit last year and again in jan. We have stood still and the the others have fucked off and left us. Sad but true.

Quality post and 100% spot on.

Well, that all depends on whether this Stromboli guy is anywhere close to the same level.

Of course, but a 20 million pound difference? I highly doubt that my friend.

Take heart, we have Broomfield back on board now. With that man's track record for identifying players for immediate Prem success, I think we can be confident this kid can at least contribute.

Since when was that a huge amount of money in football? We always break even or profit and we rake in copious amounts on ticket sales, merchandise and TV money in the process. I'm not saying with throw money around irresponsibly. What I am saying is that if there is a key signing beyond others that the manager wants then that should be the player that we make an exception to the rule for. You seem to see it in black and white. Either be frugal on every purchase and only buy once we've sold, or pay over the odds for every signing, neither of which I am advocating.

In football, no? To us? Yes! There's a reason out net spend is, well, negative - we don't have that sort of cash!

You mean an extremely successful investment firm needs to be lectured on the notion of "speculate to accumulate?"

Why do people arrive at such astronomical theories? You don't think they arrived at the conclusion that the 20m difference between this option, and the one we arrived at, wasn't worth that potential gain?

And here is the winner.

MS was no doubt wanted. But is the reported £22m difference between him and Strombo too big to justify, damn right it is. MS is not a match winner, a player who gets people off their seats, a free kick specialist or someone who will sell a million shirts. He is a player that was over priced and tellingly not chased by other top teams, that's not what we do.

Just shows that the little baldy has no desire to win anything other than the net spend/balancesheet league

I'm so angry at this window .. I said it over Nelson and Saha and I'll say it again .. levy and Lewis need to speculate a little to catch the big boys ... Harry's winter window cost this club dear ...

that said , I now accept we will never strike whilst the iron is hot and we are always going to get 3rd /4th targets until the club is sold and be in a treading water state until new stadium

if we have paid the stadium off already ..I take it all back.

... why are we continually entering. each season with glaring gaps in our team?

I am now going to do something I never felt I would with my beloved team ... I will now bet against them to lose matches .. I will donate a chunk of any winnings to SC (whats the policy on tainted winnings?... acceptable? ) and the rest is for me to get pissed next transfer deadline day ..

I'm not calling outright fraud. But you'd be naive to think massive companies don't have very well paid accountants looking at their stuff? It's well documented that multinationals such as Apple, Starbucks, Amazon are all involved in some kind of creative accounting.

Hell, most players aren't paid by PAYE. When Portsmouth went into administration half the players wages were being paid into their own companies.
Football is a different type of corporation & a lot of footballers are vat registered, There is a lot of reclaimable tax involved in football clubs so there is no creative accounting required.. & by saying creative accounting is implying fraudulent activity

Must thanks to all the ITKs for their diligence in keeping us up-to-date. A very enjoyable 2 months though a little disappointed today

Anyway Levy is giving Poch a chance to show his mettle in coaching instead of buying success like Shitty and Chelscum who we all despise here. So he's giving us our Tottenham back in that any success Poch achieves will be done through hard work and in an honourable way in the best of the Spurs tradition.

I never said I'm happy for us to be in 6th? I want us to do as well as the next person, but this guy stated he'd give his season ticket up because we are basically not throwing money around at players because Enic just want to make a profit.

We as a club have punched well above our weight for about 6 years now because of our transfer policy. Why change it?

All the negative Fucks in here have avoided looking at the part where Trix has said Poch is happy with the squad. So we might not finish in the top 4 this season. Who actually thought we would?! There are easily at least 4 teams in better shape than us even before the season started, who all have more spending power and CL football to offer. We can't compete with the wages they offer. We are the level below and have to take that on board. Man united are paying Falcao 346,000 a week. That equates to about 6 of our players weekly wages I reckon.

A bit if perspective used by some people would go a long way.
