Talk about making shit up hey... Did I say Levy was picking the team...? No

But I do believe Pooch does not have 100% complete control.

What was the ITK say last season with AVB, being told to play Ade?

So if he doesn't have complete control you're implying that Levy is picking the team. So not actually making anything up at all.

Then you go on to say Levy told AVB to pick Ade - implying you think Levy is picking the team again.

Oh and the ITK was actually that Levy asked AVB to bring Ade back into the squad and into consideration - but hey talk about making shit up!

It really isn't that hard to improve this squad. One of Dembele or Paulinho out, a creative CM and so many things will unfold from there. We could even make a profit from it. Absolutely stunning that over two full seasons later we still have not addressed this gaping problem.

A West Brom that hasn't won away from home in over 30 games.....up til now.
We have a game or two like that every season, don't we? This was obviously really disappointing, but Man Utd and Liverpool are being just as awful at the moment. There are no easy games, and all that.

Yeah, more pts per game than any other manager for Spurs in the PL.....what a bad manager. Adebayors return to the side coincided with our only period of good football last season. Just say you don't like him....that's OK....but don't talk rubbish out of spite.

Don't blame him, he was brought up on rounders and basketball.

I think one team had a game plan and were well drilled, the other team predictable, slow and disjointed.

I have seen little in the 4-2-3-1 that holds any credibility to be successful. We simply do not have the players for this system.

Woeful in the extreme i only hope that Poch has a plan "B" because if not he will have a short reign under Levy.

I don't doubt Poch with his system is a good manager ..hey, he proved it at Southampton...problem is our players don't fit that system. The fault lies at Levys Door.

We got outplayed today, did foster make a save ? The crowd turned on the players today as well , it was an awful atmosphere but it was so poor it was understandable.

I said after the west ham game that we were no stronger than last year and that has become more and more obvious

We'ed have to wait until match of the day? Well what do you think those of us behind the age of 20 used to have to do?

I'm 22, I know what it used to be like and I don't want to go back to that... Even though our play right now resembles how bad we were back then:dead:

Well the blame must lie squarely on Poch's shoulders, selections were shocking, tactics were poor, substitutions and timing of them poor.
If he carries on like this he'll be out the door before January, right now it looks like the honeymoon is over, unless he can get his act together now he'll be in trouble, up till now he has had an easy time of it, but that can quickly change unless he does

I only blame Poch for the team he picked not the performance.

I don't believe he said to the players "lads, go out there today and stroll around. There's no hurry, pass it sideways whenever you get the chance. Ade, take it easy today, save yourself for next week. No running, no fight ok. Vlad, dribble with the ball in your own area, I like that. No pressing either lads, .... nice and slow, take the easy option every time. And whatever you do, don't take a shot at goal until at least the 70th minute"

Nothing to do with the football we played under him.

This takes 'deluded' to a whole new level.

He was building a structure while still grinding out results. You also make it sound like every single game under him was a boring sludge-fest, which clearly wasn't the case. In most of 'those' games it was the strikers (chiefly Soldado) that accounted for the goal droughts. Chances were created, but the finishing was the problem... that's down to the players.

It takes time for seven new players to gel - shoot, they STILL haven't gelled for Chrissakes! It's going to take time to fix our players and get them playing as a unit... Poch is not immune to this brute fact.

When the malignant dwarf appointed Poch to the seat of death a LOT of posters were suggesting we'd get the odd day like this, that Rome wasn't built in a day and how we'd have the occasional setback or two.

And so it comes to pass that it happens.

So i'm a bit surprised at the rush to stick our collective heads in the oven.

I think poch's team selections are all about building relationships, so we'll see the same 3 behind the striker, the same 2 cm and same 2 ch's playing together. I just think he hasn't put the best 2 ch's and best 2 cm's in the same team as the best front 4. IMO Kaboul & Chiriches should have played thurs, Verts and Faz today.

It's gonna take time.

That's very optimistic. The team isn't fine, and any striker coming in would largely struggle. We don't pass the ball quick enough nor do we see the opportunities, and our movement is still diabolical. No-one gets in and around the striker and makes runs in behind the defence, its all in front of the opposition.

Many things to sort.

What worries me is why can't our coaches see this? .. And also how has nobody taught Lennon to cross or andros to look up? ..we can see it!

Typical Spurs result. Nice and familiar.

It was always going to take yrs to turn this thing around and not weeks. Poch has very little chance of being given the time though. No manager is. Maybe we do need a change of ownership. A clean slate for the entire club. Unless we go on a 20 game sinning streak, we all know how this will end, be it this season or the one after.

Which is why we had a much better start last season in the league and the cups under him, in fact - the best in our history.

Give it rest your pro AVB anti sherwood shit for the last 9 months is embarrassing.
The fact that we have had 3 managers in the last 18 months all with different styles and the team play the same disjointed way every week should tell you that it's the players, the players must turn up to training with ear plugs in each day

I think we need the CM player but also a pacey LWF to complement our attacking options with Erkisen and Lamela as well as a lone striker who can be consistent and get us 20 goals

It doesn't seem that hard but I bet in reality it will be - for a start it's really rather dependent on the defense being sorted out by a returning Vertonghen and one or both of Fazio and Dier being a capable partner as well as Walker or the American being a suitable right back and probably needing Davies to be a good enough LB too

Even if all those defensive permutations fall into place I still see us needed at least a MS type CM, a top quality lone striker and someone with pace to improve our creative attacking options before we can even get back to our old position of best of the rest challenging for top four every year
