I know you're a huge Ade fan, but that argument you just made is just, i dont know. Shocking. I'm at a loss for words here. I need a minute........
Lost for words? I edited about 300 from your post!
I am not a huge Ade fan-I am a huge Spurs fan and a massive fan of playing our best players. Right now our best 2 strikers are Ade and Kane.
14 goals in 25 appearances last season are not the stats of a player that you describe as unmotivated in your hyperbolic assessment.

I am confident that Ade will score goals this season in a similar ratio as last season. Perhaps Soldado may become better than Ade. I don't want to keep on dropping points while we test that theory

No Adebayor, Kabul, Capoue or Lennon. Makes you think they may have had a falling out with someone and the remainder of his squad. But, of course, that would be too far fetched.

Adebayor is unlikely to be fully match fit, and likely not right in the head either; Kaboul has been poor all season, and Chiriches can cover both CB and RB; Lennon has figured in a few games, and ITK that mentioned the alleged bust-up claimed that he'd made his peace with Pochettino and been forgiven; it looks as if Pochettino thinks Lamela's a better bet; Stambouli was Pochettino's choice after we couldn't get Schneiderlin, and he's probably decided to play him in the EPL ahead of Capoue.

Sounds very far-fetched.

Verified your source with the Mods yet? And did you use to post as Akqayid?

I don't know who adquyid is. Is it essential to pass on your source to.mods? If it is I won't post anymore about Adebayor. I'm not looking to upset anyone. I am not an in the know by any means. Just thought some may be interested. CERTAINLY NO HARM INTENDED SO I APOLOGISE FOR ANY OFFENCE CAUSED.

If you wish to be considered ITK, yes.

I don't doubt that you're posting in good faith, but the story that there had been a major dressing-room bust-up appeared on COYS some weeks ago. It's perfectly plausible. The trouble is, the guy who's been our best-informed ITK hadn't heard anything of it at the time, and he has excellent sources within the club. We also had another piece of ITK from COYS, verified by Prof, the big kahuna there, that the club was seriously worried about Adebayor's mental state; that doesn't preclude the bust-up story, but puts an entirely different slant on it.

Most people will, of course, believe the version that best suits their personal prejudice and discount the others.

Ignore the plastic mods and the csi posters mate.

You've broken no rules and have no reason to apologise. I enjoy your posts as do many others.

I hope you continue to post freely.

Lennon has had a slight worry with his hamstring since the day of the Palace game. It is why he was pulled from being pencilled into the starting line up and why played(reluctantly) for only 7 minutes or so. He has felt it tight on a couple of occasions since, and due to the fact we have a fully fit and functioning squad it was deemed silly to risk him during such a busy period of games. So to say he is being left out because of the squad fall out is far fetched. As for the other three it has been well documented that there was a big bust up between Ade and Kane and that the three you mention( Lennon to a much lesser extent) all sided with Ade against the rest of the squad and more importantly the manager. MP 100% wants rid of Ade and to a lesser extent the other two, but I can assure you that nothing is agreed that any of them will be off, and as things stand all three will probably still be at the club(in some capacity) in February. Nothing of course is set in stone, but unless someone comes in with a massive offer for him to break the mega deal he has with us, or he accepts a lesser payout(than his full contract) from the club to leave, he will still be getting his THFC wages come Feb 1st.

I did put on here several weeks back that Pochettino is convinced Adebayor has a mental illness. He rates him as a player when he does what he is told but has given up on him now and wants him moved on. Originally, pochettino wanted him to seek treatment.

Anyway, that's it from me on the whole affair. It's boring now.

I think a lot of people have thought that for a long while—ever since he made some pretty bizarre statements when he left Monaco, in fact. He's not as obviously barking as Balotelli, but neither is he Mr. Stable

Which ties in with that third piece of ITK, the one that said the club thought he was in a very strange place mentally and was seriously concerned about him. As I said, that doesn't preclude a bust-up, and could easily explain it.

I don't see why you can't reveal your source to A&C or Rob. No-one's going to splatter it all over the front page.

All I will say is that I would much prefer a more stable striker in his place. Doubt we'll sign one in January though unless we sell a few.

The maddening thing with Ade is he could be the player to fire us to Champions League football if he puts his mind to it. I don't think he will unfortunately and he might well not even get the chance to even try unless both our other strikers get injured.

Absolutely, keep posting away. Jackanory is always fun for all the family, especially at this time of year.

We do really need to get shot of him, anyway possible. Will prove to the rest of the freeloaders, we are finally getting serious. A massive statement of intent.

Forget all this, Ade is a wonderful player - can get us CL football etc etc. He is just a wages thief. Only turns in a good performance when it suits him. The sooner he is out of my beloved club the better.
