Seems as Man Utd fans changed their tune and finally stopped slagging him off now they've actually watched him...

Yeah, when Hargreaves compared him to Muller I first scoffed then thought it made sense. Kane has been a bit slower in his jump into the first team but seems to have a footballing brain which makes him be in the right places at right times, as well as play the right ball a lot of the time. He's not technically outstanding but he could be a very very useful player if he doesn't try and alter his game too much, just master what he has.

That's the one.

3 key passes and made 38 passes, 3rd most of the Spurs team. Did a much better job than their midfielders. Again as I said before, he's very well rounded for a tall striker. He can link up with teammates, he can run past players, he can make a tackle and he can score goals with his feet and head. I wouldnt be surprised if the top clubs in the premier league are tracking him and seeing if he can keep it up for a long period

i think this must be bc's long lost twin.

Incredible just how well he is doing, fantastic to see. I liked him when he first got into the side but tbh I've been surprised at just how much he has improved. He really is turning into a top player, who knows how far he can go? If he continues to improve he will be truely top class in a couple of years. Well done Harry.

I will admit when he came on to the scene I didn't hold much hope for him making an impact. But in the last 12 month he looks yard quicker, his touch looks sharp, every shot hits the target, his run timing is very good and his work rate is exceptional.

I'll gladly accept a slice of humble pie.

Now I'd like to see if he can continue to improve.

Harry Kane is the best striker I have seen at Spurs since Berbatov.

Very Very Very bold statement, but I said the exact same thing to my brother yesterday. Half in jest then we thought about it and I thought the only one to compete was Addebayor in his best season, and right now Kane seems just as good if not better. I am beginning to think this is more than just form. Form lasts what 10 games? He has been performaing at this level since the start of the season and he isn't always having good games but he is still having effective games.

Well whatever people might say about Poch's overall career so far, he does have a good record of improving players that buy into his system and philosophy. Some of those might be struggling now with a new club, but hopefully we won't have that problem with Kane. He got Lambert playing very well and Kane is much younger and mouldable as well as more naturally talented with god knows how high a ceiling to come. Agree with one of the posters above that half of it with Kane - aside from his quality play - is that he is someone who can get us excited about Spurs again, the antithesis of the trading commodity players we've been rattling through over recent years.

Personally I think we'll need to wait until the end of the season to judge him against Adebayor's best season, because there may well be a dip in form at some point from a young lad, but my feeling at the moment is that his performances are altering what type of player we need to go for in January. We do need some form of reinforcement but I'd rather go with Harry as first choice at this moment in time, and he's certainly looking a good bet instead of players like Lukaku that many were disappointed to miss out on.

Harry knows what it means to pull on our colors, he lives and breathes Spurs. I believe that plays a major part in his game, he wants to do well for us, he is desperate to be on the winning side, to see Spurs get 3 points. He is coming on leaps and bounds and long may it continue.

Seriously loving how well Harry is doing. Think the big test will be when he hits a dip in form and how he can recover. He's riding a wave of adrenaline right now, and whilst I hope that continues as long as possible, be interesting to see how he reacts to a few poor games. I think he's got what it takes to recover well.

This is my favourite line from that article. Made me chuckle: "..........and moments later sending Andros Townsend in for his habitual cut inside followed by low left-foot shot. It is tempting to wonder if Townsend is occasionally rested at the request of the White Hart Lane groundsman, tired of repairing that well-worn L-shaped furrow match after match."

I really do want to see us sign a good partner for him. I loved the Keane and Berbatov pairing and the Sheringham and Klinsmann partnership. Kane is the type of player that will be even more effective with someone alongside him. Plus I love seeing Kane drop into the hole to get on the ball at run at defenders. We have really missed those driving runs since Bale was sold. Add an intelligent striker making runs and pulling players around to create space for Kane and we'll score a lot more goals.

I think Townsend has become the most boring winger I've seen in a Spurs shirt. More boring than Bentley!

Seems we're going to play with one striker though.

His name is Christian Eriksen, he is currently our top PL scorer with 7 league goals and if it were a choice of Kane or Eriksen in the 10 role, I think Eriksen would still be a no brainer.
