Its one of them where I think most people don't know what we've got here. Most i guess are trying not to get carried away because its spurs so we dont like to get ahead of ourselves but I'd be furious if we sold him for anything less than 30 mill.

He's just the absolute shit at the moment. He really has got everything to go on and become world class if things go ours and his way.

There are plenty of players who have had a great season then faded. He's doing great, lets leave it at that and hope he does better next year.

Said that with:
Hoddle
Waddle
Gascoigne
Sheringham
Ginola
Modric
Bale

Yeah all of them my favourite player at that time..........but the only one we really could compare Kane with is Hoddle...he was one of our own too.

I think many spurs fans over rate our players I really hope this isn't the case with harry

I think many of our fans underate our own players.

When I was on COYS, many used to regularly write-off youngsters like Bentaleb and Kane.

They were adamant that these players were not Premier League standard.

We are hard on our own.

Kane has single handedly restored my enthusiasm for Tottenham and football in general.

After starting this season barely recognizing our team and players, and going through poor performance after poor performance by players i struggled to connect with i must admit i was kinda down on football in general. I didnt even knew i was capable of ever falling out of love with Tottenham and football, but after the last few years i was on my way there!

But then Harry come in and reignite my passion for Tottenham and football. One of our own going all the steps before claiming his spot as our main striker, and he play with a passion i havent seen from a Spurs player in quite some time and i love it!

i need to watch it again but that pass for mason, i'm sure kane didn't once look for him, despite running 50 yards he just knew he'd be there. massive shame mason skied it.

Do you know what, I kinda agree. All he has ever talked about is making it with us, been with us through the youth teams. Should be the sort of player that younger players and fans look up to through this generation.

Never leave us Harry.

Seems as Man Utd fans changed their tune and finally stopped slagging him off now they've actually watched him...

His passing has been excellent today.

Much better player than he gets credit for on here.

He looked good. Works hard, quick and causes problems

Thought he was very good today - let down in many ways in that he provided all of Spurs' incision - you can't provide them and score them.

Classy player and works very hard

3 key passes and made 38 passes, 3rd most of the Spurs team. Did a much better job than their midfielders. Again as I said before, he's very well rounded for a tall striker. He can link up with teammates, he can run past players, he can make a tackle and he can score goals with his feet and head. I wouldnt be surprised if the top clubs in the premier league are tracking him and seeing if he can keep it up for a long period

Interesting to hear Hargreaves compare him to Thomas Muller, in that he isn't much to look at as a player but is intelligent enough to make himself effective on a consistent basis. I think that Kane was always highly rated in the youth ranks but too often you see players fail to make the step up to the top level as they just don't have the temperament for the sharp end of the Premier League. I think that it is not just the intelligence that Kane shows on the pitch, it is also how comfortable he looks at this level. I think that he definitely one to watch for England fans going forward.

Hargreaves barely ever makes a good point, but I think he's onto something there.

I haven't seen much of Kane but I was impressed by him today. His touch, movement and passing are all very good.

Yeah, when Hargreaves compared him to Muller I first scoffed then thought it made sense. Kane has been a bit slower in his jump into the first team but seems to have a footballing brain which makes him be in the right places at right times, as well as play the right ball a lot of the time. He's not technically outstanding but he could be a very very useful player if he doesn't try and alter his game too much, just master what he has.

Looks good. Can see why he's by far Spurs' best outfield player.

Get him in that England squad. It's not a Townsend situation, because this guy is actually producing.

Seems like a good player in the making. Has a bit of everything so you could probably see him bringing the best out of his teammates at any level. All aboard the Kane plane, whoosh!

Thought he looked good today. Seemed more of a clever player than I realised.
Personally I'd rather we signed him in the summer than Falcao. I don't think we will, but other better value deals like that could be what we go for instead of signing Falcao permanently.
How much do you reckon he'd cost given he is young and English and Levy's ability to drive a hard bargain?
More than he's worth for sure. But thats probably still a better deal than £44 million for a 28 year old who's not even at his best and has fitness issues
Falcao is too expensive no doubt, given the baggage you mention. Reckon Kane would cost £25m+ which would be a massive gamble for anyone.

I think today our fans saw why he shouldn't be judged simply on the amount of goals he scores, like Defoe or Bent would have been. Kane isn't really an out and out goal scorer. He'll score 10-15 league goals per season, but that is enough for the type of player he is, as it was for Beardsley and Sheringham etc. His pressing, constant running and good use of the ball in terms of linking the play up and creating are real assets. Because of his height and awkward style, I think people have more of a Peter Crouch type in mind, but he's got far more to his game.

He looks like he's going to be a great player, works hard for the team and is in great form. He plays for our feeder club so I hope he continues to develop and maybe one day we can see him at OT.

He's really impressed me. Such a smart player.

So within 24 hours he's gone from comparisons to Alan Smith/Darren Bent/Nicklas Bendtner and Kevin Nolan to Red Cafe folk now wanting to sign him over Falcao since he played against us.

Shows how much people really saw of him.
