That goal was so frustrating. It's so important to take care of the ball, if in absolute doubt then just hoof it so the defence can get set again.

We'd have been in front imo if it wasn't for that mistake.

The play well, create chances, then concede and not be able to complete four passes for fifteen minutes isn't because the team is young, it's because collectively the composure and mentality is wrong/lacking.

Harry's team weren't young and they suffered from the same disease.

Romero looks shite. We really need to pressure him because he will make more mistakes. Let's be intelligent.

3 key incidents that made the difference:

Think Eriksen should have put us 1-0 up.
Kane should have looked up and put Chadli in for a tap in.
Bentaleb shocking on the ball.

First 20 minutes I was genuinely happy with how we were playing. We also definitely miss some expereince in midfield to pull us through those nervy phases.

United far less threatening than I thought they would be.

First 20 minutes were very promising and then its been downhill since Bentaleb's mistake and the goal.

We just can't move the ball well enough from deep and we're still massively lacking ideas when we go forward...it just keeps coming back and then we have Dier who won't look forward.

Surely Poch should bring young Alli on, he simply won't do any worse and will probably give us more fluidity from midfield.

So disappointing to be losing to a very lackluster Man United team.

It's amazing how significant and damaging it is to our entire set up lacking that true CDM....it really suffocates the players having to drop deep and slow down our pressing/attacking style....not an entirely bad first half

When only 1 of your cm2 can pass it puts extra pressure onto the CM that can pass.

Dier off for Mason for me.

We did well up to the goal and Eriksen should have scored.

We had early chances... Bentaleb really should be subbed for the second half, he's been a liability so far.

I'm a big Bentaleb fan but their goal came from one of many loose square balls he's played today.

Did the exact same thing at Old Trafford last season too.

Apart from him it's been pretty solid.

Maybe we should take bentaleb off and bring ali on second half think the boy needs a wake up call.
Its not a slag off as i like him but twice in four days he needs to know competiton for places.

Let's hope Poch can smack some sense into Bentaleb during half time. Best thing to say is we aren't out of it which was a real possibility after that goal went in.

Next to get out and do what we did first 20 mins again. I think Lamela for Dembele, Alli for Bentaleb and Mason for Dier are the subs to make later on in the game if it stays as it is.

No real pace in our side has been criminally overlooked yet again. Bents distribution has been woeful and walkers positional awareness are akin to Jimmy savilles baby sitting skills.

Good from Poch, we were going to take the free kick short and he shouts and says put it in the box.... Spurs need to do that more often especially with the team we have out today (biggish).

Totally agree with the minority of people posting on here. We are at utd, we have had the crowd influence some important decisions, yes bentaleb misplaced a pass and they scored but hes still young and will make mistakes.

We are doing ok, could do better. Lets see what happens second half. By the way dier isnt as bad in midfield as is made out either.

Lamela needs to come on. He will start the press high up the pitch and give us a chance to transition into attack. Get him on for Bentaleb and drop Dembele into CM. Swap Dier out for Alli, as his constant back passing is slowing down our attack.

How many fouls is that for Schneiderlin? Makes no sense to me when the refs call for persistent infringement

So sloppy were gifting United chances. Our general play going forward is again to slow and Bentaleb needs to wake up far to sleepy.

cant blame walker. thght he played well that half.

bentaleb has been poor. too arrogant imo which leads to that sloppiness.

difference between us and ManUSA was we make a mistake they capitalise, but the other way round and we dont.

We started really well, pressing high, but the goal knocked us and we lost the initiative

Eriksen needs to start finding those pockets, but after 15 mins or so Carrick and MS started to close out the space.

Give it 15 mins and id bring Alli and Lamela on for Eriksen and Bentaleb.
