the dance continues
I'd go for Austin @£15
Agreed. Do the BBC even read what they've written? They report that WBA say he's not for sale, but in the same breath they report that WBA value him at £25m. I'm sure he's on his way to Spurs but West Brom have to make it look as though they put up a fight...Surely it's just posturing?
None of the above says he is not for sale. In fact the BBC interview admits as much.Well this was not expected!!!!

Chairman - We have no interest in selling Saido
“However, the prospect of selling Saido is simply not on our agenda.
“We are going forward with Saido very much in our plans and still striving to add players to improve the balance of our squad.”

What else do we expect, two weeks to go and you bid for a teams number one striker.... pathetic!!!
Is like someone coming in with a bid for Hugo now knowing it will be difficult to get a replacement especially if the manager already has him in his plans for the forth coming season.

5 pts behind Liverpool
5 pts behind Man U.
The two teams that finished closest to us last season.
Its a marathon, not a sprint, but we haven't even started the race....
Forget Austin, Forget Berahino, play the season for mid table. Consolidation. Transition. Money in the bank, etc. That's what we want now isn't it? More cash?
Jesus wept.
Do you honestly think we've 'left' it this late and haven't been working on this transfer throughout the window?Well this was not expected!!!!

working on a target and placing a bid are two different things. This is good news, we've made an official move. This will show that West Brom are fighting to keep their man so when he is sold they can say they didn't have a choice. Things are officially moving now.

And negotiating before making an official bid is different tooworking on a target and placing a bid are two different things.
Get a bid in for Islam Slimani.
He hasn't proved anything against the big boys... Would be interesting option but he is not the answer.
