ITK has been pretty consistent for some time that Fazio has been made available by us. There will be serious ramifications in regards to squad rotation if Fazio is sold today and no central midfielder is brought in. Dier will start as CDM, but who will play with Wimmer in the cup matches at LCB? This is the type of strategic planning that a club that has their ducks in a row would consider before making a sale.
On the striker front, I have no idea what we'd do in cup matches without a back up striker. Chadli is a league starter, so you can't just have him playing every single game. Son was brought in to start too in league matches, and he isn't even a striker in the first place, so he's not an option. You've got N'Jie, who has virtually no experience playing the lone striker role. Are you willing to play him up top against Arsenal, Monaco, and Anderlecht? Poch will need some wins in those cup matches to keep the supporters on his side.
I think today will seriously be a decisive day for Pochettino. I hope we get what he needs to effectively rotate and cope with 4 competitions. If not, I think there is a brutal stretch of fixtures awaiting this squad in September/October that will tell us a lot about where we're headed this season.

Feeling positive today, time to show we want to compete for a top 4 spot.
Must get adebayor off the books somehow, after hearing he turns up to training in a chauffer driven rolls royce and the fact we have witnessed how good he can be, when he is bothered I believe that he is a big rotten apple and only sends negativity through the whole squad
