And nor will Eriksen. Will never reach the level of Modric so I wouldn't lose sleep if he goes

Eriksen has just scored a hattrick for Denmark against Bulgaria, currently leading 4-0. The Eriksen-show!

His first hattrick, actually.Eriksen has just scored a hattrick for Denmark against Bulgaria, currently leading 4-0. The Eriksen-show!
Eriksen is just under a week older than me. If only id be so lucky to he 22 again.Modric himself only just reached that level before he left.
Not universally admired
and many thought that Levy did well to get 30million for him.
Some even considered him too small and weak for the Prem.
As Joni Mitchell sang
you don't know what you got til its gone
Eriksen is 22 and top assister for the season.
The game is not only about tackling now is it.
Eriksen is a massive part of our team. I think because he's quiet, calm and reserved some people seem to confuse that with thinking he's on the periphery and we could get a better replacement. I think it would be very difficult to get a better player in his position who we could realistically afford/attract. Hope he stays for many more seasons.

Bulgaria are bad almost san marino level now, never been the same since berbatov days
Yes but I'm obviously talking about two years ago. He's 24 same as lamela
top assists in the league apart from old octopus eyes
While I agree that's his role currently it does appear that Poch is trying to slowly transition him deeper and become more of that midfield engine type who can dictate the game for us.Completely different players really, Modric plays in the engine room and Eirksen one of the attacking three.

He was playing much deeper this year than in the past it seemed. He was really dropping down to help move the ball up the pitch more frequently in matches.Does it? Based on what?
