I tend to agree with this but there are some pretty good potential moves left under £20m, such as Pau Lopez, N'Koudou, Burke, Malli, maybe even Coric if the inflation hasn't quite made it to Zagreb yet. All of those would add something you'd think, just that elusive nailed on starting XI improvement that seems to be out of our reach financially.

I agree, we've seen too many false dawns and glimpses of maybes of mega scoops and every close of window we are left wondering how on earth we fell for the same story.

And i'm probably going to go further than that. About a dozen complete idiots clicked agree for the post in question because they too have a ramrod up their arses. They can get lost too and i'll be seeing to that in a couple of hours when work slacks off so you can expect a raft of complaints for lunch

Yeah that's my point. If we're in a situation with less than a week to go where we need to sell people before we can bring others in (which I accept is a reasonable position) then the past tells us that we won't be seeing much with regards to incomings.
To be honest I wouldn't be that disappointed if that was the case anyway. I'd like to see N'Kandou done, but other than that we're fairly sorted unless a Van der Vaart style opportunity becomes available.

True enough though you would hope (optimistic rating incoming) that if we have targets in mind that we could have already made contact and have things ready to go quickly if and when we sell a couple of players.

Devils avocado for a moment - if those that leave are holding up those who come in, who is to say that Spurs don't already have deals lined up of their own?
Either way, for any fan with a reasonable view on this, it could be a fun three days and there is the possibility of one or two new fresh faces coming in, for which I would welcome!

I think a ban because they Agreed is a little overzealous. id say clicking Agree is less offensive than spamming the thread with fried snack gags.

Quite simply I fell asleep, if you think I'm attention seeking then there is two possible solutions that I can see. One I stop posting, or two you stop reading. I always post everything I hear in as much detail as I can, Always have. If I can't post it as I hear it I either, don't or it gets passed on via other avenues. Comparing me to Neil fucking Eatson though because of one post, when I have been posting stuff on here and before that on COYS for years......
As for everyone else(those I don't want to slap across the chops with my quaver flavoured penis) what I was told last night....
Starting to look a lot better regarding the outs. Serious interest in all of them, and less resistance(on most parts) to leave. Told we are looking at an AM and a contingency plan if we can move a couple more.
Says he still hasn't heard anything re Zaha and his opinion is that it is "game playing" and he doesn't believe the interest is serious.
Thanks. I posted in the Zaha thread that I think we are possibly using diverting tactics to hide what we are really up to. From the last couple of days it looks like we are really busy on both sides of the market

Probably in reference to the quavers A&C. I did qualify my rating in a post also.
