After tonight's performance it got me thinking...what has been the best Spurs performance since Poch took over the club: Despite having an indifferent and inconsistent first season there were a couple of results that stood out, firstly the 5-3 win against Chelsea, was superb just because it looked like everything came together that night and we were absolutely relentless and it was Chelsea. The 2-1 against Arsenal which for me still remains our best display intensity wise where we totally bullied Arsenal into submission.

Onto the next season the 4-1 win against City really set the tone for the season, took apart a City team who were undefeated, they came to WHL and we were all over them, the 3-0 win against Man Utd, really enjoyed that match and in particular the 2nd half blitz of 3 goals in 6 mins and then there's the Stoke 0-4 match where we were utterly dominant and full of confidence and should have really scored more.

As for this season there's been too many good performances, the 2-0 against Man City, missing Kane but pressed the fuck out of them and won the 2nd balls, we were rampant against a shell shocked City side who were once again unbeaten before they played us. The 2-0 win against Chelsea is probably the most mature performances I've ever seen from a Spurs side, didn't rise to their bait, defended superbly and took our chances, Chelsea didn't have an answer. The 4-0 wins against West Brom...or Stoke...or Watford...or Bournemouth, all equally impressive or the 6-1 thrashing of Leicester...running out of superlatives, no words needed.

The Chelsea 2- 0 at the lane this season was the most accomplished, professional and deadly performance I have seen under Poch.

City this year....

The reason....City were flying and hammering all infront of them, and we beat the best coach at his own game.

The Chelsea 2-0 game was so much of payback for how Cheatski always f**k with us
- Frank Arnesen
- Willian
-Bidding for Modric

was a massive finger for that soulless russian-mafia club...

Beating the chavs 5-3; maybe not as complete as the 2-0 performance but as a game that crystallised the Pochetino template, it was utterly delicious. And they really weren't expecting it too and I love it when their entitled, arrogant arses get a surprise slap

What a list. And none were out of the blue or unexpected. We are just that good.

Seriously. Poch; what a fucking legend.

I've gone the Chelsea 5 3 because before then I don't think we looked like a team that could pull that off. There were still a lot of people not entirely convinced by Poch (me included) but this win showed what we could do to our rivals when the stars aligned. We've continued to have those kind of results against them since then.

Plus it was great fun!

I think the two games against Chksea were my favourites. As mentioned above, the 5-3 showed what we were capable of with a team of players still gelling and a few possible 'weak' areas compared to this season's 'completed' team who were just on a completely different level and clearly shows we are now serious and won't roll over to the big boys.

Poch', and Levy where credit is due, have done an an amazing job to get us where we are. Next 2 years will be huge in terms of where the club goes imo.

Still the 2-1 vs. Arsenal for me. We conceded an early goal, but after that we utterly dominated. Strangled the life out of them and played with a great intensity. They were pinned back and couldn't get out as we battered down the door and got the victory.

I'm going to go for the 5-3. It was a shock performance and a shock victory. It changed many people's opinion of Poch. For me it was the turning point for Poch and Spurs. Before that match we were languishing in mid table obscurity and after that we really pushed on to finish 5th that season. The match also saw the emergence of Kane and Rose at that point people thought Kane was just a flat track bully and Rose was the player people didn't want to see on the team sheet. That all changed that night.

But to be honest I wouldn't blame anyone for picking any of the match above they have all been brilliant. It's a good time to be a Spurs fan.

I'd go for City this year too. The Chelsea performance was a great example of discipline and focus in a big match, but the City one was the finest example of the fast and furious Poch press at it's height.
