Totally agree.

Really surprised to see Chelsea 2-0 get so many votes. T'was a very competent, professional performance, but I wouldn't say we totally dominated them, or were enormously pleasing to watch in our style of play.

2-1 v Arsenal was a game where - despite the close-looking scoreline - our sheer aggressiveness and desire made me stand up and take notice. A brilliant pressing display all over the pitch, that performance had everything: resilience, confidence, precision. One of the most enjoyable Spurs games I've ever watched.

5-3 v Chelsea was great too, although we conceded too many goals to call that our best performance.

I also though 2-0 v City this season was a more enjoyable performance than the Chelsea game, although clearly Chelsea were much tougher opponents.
Yep, I'm on board with all of that. I'd argue the 2-0 against Chelsea was the best result, for sure, but that's not the same thing.

Still the Arsenal 2-1 for me, it was just the total ferocity of that performance I loved, Arsenal were still strong then but we just suffocated the fucking life out of them, it was Bielsa-esque and it just was relentless for the whole game, coming back from a goal down as well was sweet.

The Chelsea 2-0 was probably second for me. Not just about the pure football played, but about the mentality and tactical application it involved. Pressure on big time, Chelsea about to set a record, running away with the league, and we just outplayed them, this time in a slightly more pragmatic fashion, a different tactical shape and approach but this was a real grown up performance, that proved we matured mentally and in a tactical and footballing sense.

For me, the best game I witnessed, from every aspect, was the 3-0 win over Fiorentina last season. Superb performance across the pitch, electric atmosphere in the stands, best since Milan in CL. The last true Glory Glory night at the Lane.

It's why it disappointed me that we went out against Dortmund, we were able to win that last year.

I think for me it might be the City game this season.

The Chelsea 5-3 was a great win, but not a great performance. We conceded three goals.

And the Chelsea game this season was great too but very very tight, we just edged it.

City we dominated.

I completely agree with this. We took the game to them and completely destroyed them in every facet of the game. It was wondrous to watch us systematically dismantle them and make them look less-than-ordinary. It really was a sight to behold.

I thought the 2-0 Chelsea match was a great win, and probably the most mature of our performances on the year, but I don't think it was as comprehensive a performance as was the one against Shitty.

I went for the scum 2-1.

This is because it was the first dominant performance while under Poch. It was with a team who wasn't as good as our current team yet played just like them. Despite going a goal behind at HT I had no doubts that we were fully capable of pulling it back and we did. To me, it was the catalyst for the current players knowing how well they can play if they really put their minds to it.

I'm aware this game came after the Chelsea 5-3, where attacking wise we were on another level but we were defensively fragile but the 2-1 was just utter dominance and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, especially as I watched it with two gooners :D

Surprised that so few of us have voted for the 4-0 win over West Brom this season. The first half was footballing poetry and only a brilliant performance from Ben Foster kept the score below 7 or 8.

We were breathtaking that day.

Shocked so few have gone for the 4 niller at Stoke last year.

That was the game, for me, that distinguished this team from the Redknapp team who were the best Spurs side I could remember up till then. Harry's side - Bale and all - would have lost that one. We were awesome on the night.

2-0 Chelsea was this year's version.

Hopefully next year we boss two or three from Chelsea/Arsenal/United/City/Liverpool away from home to signal our next evolution.
