Bingo
The drummer from 'The Banana Splits' ... What a signing! ...
Bingo
The worst thing about this is you're on holiday and I'm notnot really ITK, but i thought id share....
currently spending a week in Ibiza, happens to be footballer central at the mo...
Danny Rose was on my flight on the way out...with a huge brace on his leg, didnt get a chance to speak to him.
Woodgate is at the same hotel as me, havent had the chance to speak to him yet. (although ill try)...
today was at a beach club, Nuri Sahin, Marc Bartra, Sergio Busquets and Pepe Reina were there.. .i think by all accounts, Bartra got married yesterday.. so that's why a lot of them are there.
Was sitting next to Sahin and asked him if he came close to joining Spurs before Liverpool a few years back. He said he was, he was "a day away", whatever that means. I said he should have, and he said, "yeah, you are probably right in hindsight"....
that aside, sahin is very nice guy, chatted a bit, about the new coach at dortmund and how he doesnt know him yet, but was impressed from watching ajax, he asked my son if he liked harry kane and dele, to which he said, he did, but his "dad is Great at football so i play with him"...
just thought id share a small tidbit about spurs..
Shouldn't Rose not be flying right now? Can @Lemon confirm this?
The extra pressure on his injury would need ideally to be supported, garlic, ginger cinnamon and salad type foods (keep the blood thin enough to not risk clot to recovery tissue, or hamper lymph function excessivelŷ etcetera). Then personally think he should have a H2O2 + magnesium bath, with cold shower end, and rest.
Dunno basically, would think ideally no, but real world = happy player should be a recovering player, so yeah let him.
To be honest I can't recall what his injury even is, think they are all very similar, what you could call metabolic residue toxicity.
Edit: A&C I didn't realise the thread, sorry.
Can you name me one manager in football that gets every single purchase right?
If Poch wants Barkley then he deserves our backing and the boards backing
Alex Ferguson, The greatest manager of all time got it wrong from time to time. Djemba Djemba and Kleberson to name just a couple.
As others have already pointed out no manager has a 100% hit rate on purchases. Not to mention that not all our purchases would have been Pochettino's first choice.
OK, give an example of a manager in the history of football who's had a 100% hit rate on buying players!!! Actually, don't bother coz there ain't one!!
Which manager has a perfect record ? I would guess all managers have a record of 50% right and 50% wrong at best.
What manager has a better track record at signing quality players - while maintaining a neutral net spend?
Even teams with unlimited budgets make bad signings...
Yeah...What no Hugo? Did I miss the thread? I'm sure I've seen several rumours about him. Still, I think this is a window where I'm more concerned about who we sell than who we buy.
Probably not for the RO but Floydiohead on coys regarding Barkley:
Had a very interesting chat to someone last night who is right in the middle of this deal. As things presently stand, there is no chance of him coming to us, and from what he told me, that is very unlikely to change.
